"Had a great stay at the Sporthotel. The facilities are excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. The weather wasn’t great, but there was so much to do indoors that nobody was bored - tennis, table tennis, billiard, swimming pool, saunas, and a good gym! When the weather was good, we visited the volcanic lakes in the area - the autumn colours of the trees around were amazing in the sunshine. "We stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting the Nurburgring for a weekend event, 2 adults and a teenager so we booked the junior suit as it has a separate bedroom (and a lovely little balcony that we used in the evening). Distance to Nurburgring is 5 minute by car so ideal for us. The hotel is lovely and modern, really clean and comfortable, nice breakfast too. "Well I knew that I needed to keep my expectations lower due to the fact that this hotel is in a small village and the buildings are very old. We had the most basic room and it was VERY small. The bathroom could not be any smaller unless you have a cabin on a cruise ship. It was warm the week we were there and there is no air conditioning and the room was stuffy.
