Family trip
Fantastic property!! It’s a piece of Heaven on Earth. The views can’t be beat. The villa was nice, clean, and comfortable. It was easy access to the places we wanted to go. Nigel and Karen were wonderful host and helped us with anything needed. Recommend this place 💯. We will be back!

Definitely worth a stay!
Nestled between White Bay and Great Harbour, the location is hard to top. Walking down from (and back up from) GH is possible; but would definitely recommend a taxi if departing from White Bay. The apartment is one of a handful within Ocean View Villas, was appropriately furnished and the views are incredible! Admittedly we didn’t spend much time on the property but Karen was always available if we needed anything. Communication from the hosts is top notch and they even accommodated an early check in and assisted with us getting back to the ferry upon our departure. Would definitely return and recommend this stay!

Amazing Stay
Recently returned from a fabulous stay. Nigel and Karen are fantastic hosts. The property was in a great location overlooking Great Harbour. Was a short trip to Soggy Dollar, or the Harbor. The Balcony area was our favorite to relax after a day on the beach. The Villa was pristine, well appointed, spacious bedrooms, and lots of little touches--to make our stay perfect. We did not want to leave and will definitely return, Thanks again Karen and Nigel.

Loved it!
Thanks Nigel and Karen. We had a fantastic time and the property was even better than described. Very Clean, beautiful views and a wonderful breeze. We really appreciated the availability of the rental car and we had so much fun. We really hope to be back! The 5 Sisters :)

Awesome time in December 2022 with family, Karen and Nigel are the best !! They helped us out with airport transfers, water taxis, food provisioning and anything else we needed. Place is immaculate and views are incredible. Strongly recommend, hope to be back next year !!

The View was amazing the Hosts were great at making us feel at home. The location between Great harbor and White bay was awesome. We could see our boat from the house which was also great. We would love to come back in the future.

Nigel is the best
Due to the COVID-19 situation we had to reschedule our vacation to December. Nigel was fantastic and very accommodating in helping us do that. We cant wait to visit in December!

Great Stay
We loved our time at Ocean View Villa. Karen and Nigel are wonderful people and easy to work with. The house is better than described. Jost is a fun little island full of friendly, caring people. I would definitely spend another week there. Although a car isn’t absolutely required, as we walked down and back up many times, I would rent the Howell’s vehicle next time.

Fabulous in every way!
Beautiful views and spacious accommodations. Karen & Nigel were responsive and understanding during our last minute fears with possible changes in our stay due to the world events of late. Having the car available for our rental was so convenient and paid for itself. We cant wait to come back.

Great stay
We stayed in one of the one bedrooms which was more than enough space for both of us. Also were able to rent one of the jeeps for a day. The villa had an AMAZING view, was updated and extremely comfortable. Nigel and Karen were very welcoming and helped answer my numerous questions and helped with a bit of miscommunication with a taxi. Extremely patient and helpful! Highly recommend and will stay again on our next trip!

Beautiful apartment with an exceptional view
While only staying one night, we definitely could easily have spent much more time. The apartment is super spacious and comfortable. Very clean and all the amenities you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds. The owners are very welcoming and were flexible with our arrival and departure times. Highly recommended!

Clean & Spacious. Well equipped kitchen.
Karen & Nigel are a very friendly couple who go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and every thing is to your liking. They even went out of their way to help with shopping. One day I was not feeling well and Ricardo came up to see if all was well, thinks I just got to much sun the day before. Will definitely come back again.

Amazing views and sea breezes
Karen and Nigel have created an oasis of comfort and relaxation on JVD. From the wide verandas, deep views, and well-appointed apartments, we enjoyed our stay at the Oceanview Villas. They were wonderful hosts and our apartment had everything we needed. Thank you!

2nd time, but not the last
This was our second time staying at Karen & Nigel's amazing villa. As always it was an amazing stay. We shared the 2 bedroom unit with my parents and my brother stayed in the new one bedroom upstairs. Both units were wonderful, spacious, clean and had amazing views. Normally we spend all of our time away from our accommodations and only sleep there, but now for the second time, we have spent a good chunk of our time in the villa enjoying everything it has to offer. Karen and Nigel are amazing people and excellent hosts.

Perfect location to explore Jost.
The view from the apartment was breathtaking, the bedrooms, living area and balcony were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Taxi prices are per person, so are very expensive if you’re a larger group, we’ll worth hiring a car/jeep (if theirs isn’t available).

Only thing Better then the Views is the Hosts
Nigel and Family have gone above and beyond to provide beautiful peaceful accommodations in the happiest place on earth (such a paradise) The house is fully renovated, modern and clean. We rented the entire property for a small wedding group and we couldn't be happier. Thank you so much

Beautiful view!
The view of Great Harbour is stunning! And the breeze was wonderful. The apartment is very nice. It is comfortable and was very clean. Nigel and Karen are so sweet and were great hosts! They live downstairs so they were around if we had any questions or needed anything. They are super friendly but not intrusive at all. We will return!

Most incredible hosts, home and view!
Nigel and Karen are incredible hosts and very helpful for any of your needs. They have a beautiful home with the most incredible view of Great Harbor! We go to Jost every year for 10-14 days and after staying in several homes on the island, this home is our new home away from home! The amenities (dish washer, gas cooking, granite counters, and en suite master) make this a very comfortable place for us and our two children. I highly recommend staying here and think you want to never leave.... Brian

From the moment we arrived it was clear that Nigel and Karen took immense pride in their villa. It was clean, the grounds were beautiful and they truly could not have been more wonderful to us. Amazing!
We stayed in January 2017 with another couple. So many good things to say about Ocean View Villa I don't know where to start, but I'll list a few to give you an idea of how lovely it is. The villa was immaculate and well appointed. I have stayed at several places on Jost and this place by far has all the goods. Good cookware, knives, blender, utensils, etc. It's the little things that the hosts think of that make this place stand out. The view of Great Harbor is wonderful, the veranda is gives you more living space to stretch out and is great to start your morning feeling the sun and breeze on your face. The grounds are beautiful. The hosts are generous and kind. They are there for you if you need anything, otherwise it is like you have the place to yourself. And they let you use their laundry- a wonderful amenity when you are staying on the island for more than a week. One of the nicest places I have stayed at on Jost, if not the best.

What a great place to stay!!! This villa is gorgeous. Being a plant person, I thouroghly enjoyed all the plants Nigel has gotten in the ground. The view of great harbor and watching the boats come and go was cool. And the sounds of Foxeys in the distant background at night was nice. The villa itself is very clean and fresh, fully stocked with whatever you would need. and Nigel and Karen were very nice and attentive. The location is right where it needs to be, in the middle of everything. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous property and wonderful hosts
I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts Nigel and Karen. The property was perfect for us: beautiful new construction, a deck with an expansive view of Great Harbour and across to Tortola, we could walk down to White Bay and Great Harbour (would mostly grab a short taxi ride back up the hill), all the amenities needed (equiped kitchen, wifi, laundry, etc.). It was also a great pleasure to have Nigel and Karen as hosts. They made us feel at home right from initial contact as they were very responsive to our inquiries, generous with proving info, and very welcoming. Once here they were very accessible, helpful and pleasant. We hope stay here again in future. Thank you Nigel and Karen!

Home away from it all
We arrived with our car rental and were greeted by Nigel who gave us the tour, and it was as seen on the web site though it is tough to judge size but plenty of room for a couple, The house was clean and new. Nigel and Karen were great hosts, You would not even know that they were even home. We stayed for a week witch for us was a bit long because there is not a lot to see on such a small island. The views from the deck were spectacular though, We did get to The Baths witch we enjoyed but you need to plan to the ferry's schedule and cost. If you order food from the store on Tortola I recommend that you stay away from Perishables as we saw your food will be out in the hot sun for a while. So in closing we would recommend the house to a friend. Thank you Nigel and Karen

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place with a beautiful view.
Loved staying at this place for spring break. The unit is clean and nice with an absolutely gorgeous view. Close to town and docks along with swimming beach. Would absolutely stay there again.

Wonderful
We could not have asked for a better place to have stayed on Jost. Outlet hosts were so welcoming and even stayed up late for us to get since we were late arriving. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Would definitely come back again.

Excellent accommodation
We stayed in the villa in January 2016. The property itself is excellent - it has a full and well-stocked kitchen, two very comfortable bedrooms (one of which is en suite) and a very comfortable living area. There's also a balcony with some beautiful views over Great Harbour and out to Tortola. Downstairs has a lovely and well-maintained garden, too. The villa is very well located, just up the hill from Great Harbour (a 2 minute drive, if that) and around from White Bay (again, about a 2 minute drive). While both locations would probably be walkable, it's advisable to have a car on the island to get around more easily; Nigel was able to organise for a car hire place on island to have a car waiting for us when we arrived off the ferry from Tortola, which was much appreciated! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful with Great Hosts!
We went from camping at Ivan's for the past two years to staying at this absolutely beautiful home and now are forever spoiled. Gorgeous view of Great Harbor but two days is too short. For the next visit we will remember to pack better walking shoes and order groceries a head of time. Fantastic Experience
We have stayed in the pink house and white bay villas sunset villa east and west previously on JVD. Found Ocean View Villa online and decided to give it a shot. We had an absolutely fabulous experience. The communication was prompt and exceeded every expectation we had. The details that Karen and Nigel take care of made our experience with them seamless. They took care of our arrival and departure taxis making sure we were met coming off the ferry as well as getting back on it. The gardening and landscaping were stunning as well as the furniture and work that they pride themselves in making.themselves in. They could not have been more gracious, giving our family a mini tour of the fruit trees and picking a pineapple for us. Wwe wish them luck in their continuation of OVV and know that we will be back. Thank you so much for having us and taking care of us on our mini trip to a very special place. Highly recommended.
