The house was very clean and for the most part appeared as it does in the photos. Nice location as its an easy walk into the small downtown area. We had issues getting into the house upon arrival but thankfully was able to get ahold of someone who assisted us.

Indeed a jewel for the sunset

It was such a cozy place for a perfect getaway with a few girlfriends. Well stocked kitchen, living area, and bathrooms. The beds could have been a bit more comfortable but we were so beat after the hike under the sun and the jacuzzi session so we snoozed immediately...Highly recommended for a Joshua Tree getaway

Pictures are misleading. There’s no deck around the pool to lay out on and the hot tub wasn’t on and wouldn’t heat up so we unable to use it. The pool and hottub both had tons of debri. When we messaged about the hot tub we received no response :(

Had a great stay at the Sunset Jewel! The property is clean and well appointed. There was coffee beans and filters provided, which was a really nice amenity. The kitchen is a really nice layout. Bedrooms all had good natural light, with good shades. Mattress was a comfortable medium firm memory foam type. If i had any critique, it would be the pillows weren't my preference, and all the pillows in all the rooms were the same type. Bathrooms were clean. The towels were surprisingly nice. The backyard was great for us traveling with our dog. Its fully fenced in with high enough walls that we weren't worried about coyotes getting in. This is one of the few properties in the area that actually put a pump in their cowboy pool so the water isn't stagnating. It's a simple thing, but i appreciate it. I also appreciated the very simple mostly automated type check-in/out process. I received a very simple email stating the wifi and how to use the home automation features through alexa, and the entry code which was conveniently set to last 4 of my phone number (so I don't have to keep looking at a note to unlock the door). I'm sure the owners would be available if needed, but i really like this style of managment where it doesn't feel like someone is overly involved in my stay. Oh and the location is fantastic too. You could walk a couple blocks and be at the farmers market area in just a couple minutes.
