"I stayed here on a Saturday during Coachella weekend, so I understand prices were higher than usual. I booked a deluxe queen non-smoking room and arrived around 6 PM. We quickly grabbed our key, dropped off our bags, and left, but when we returned later, the room smelled strongly like an ashtray. The bathroom had issues as well—the toilet water was running all night, and there were water drops on the floor. I went to the front desk to request a room change, but I was told the only available option was a one king smoking room, and that I wouldn’t be eligible for a refund. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to stay. Even the pillows and sheets had a strong cigarette odor, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, especially considering the price."

"We paid, checked in at the front desk, on our way to the room we decided to eat the $250 and spend $400 additional to book somewhere else. The first impression of the hotel condition was so bad we paid double plus the cost of booking this place to stay somewhere else. This isn’t a hotel. It’s a motel."
