Vineyard Harbor Motel - Private Beach

"My daughter and I stayed at the Vineyard Harbor Motel last week. The hotel is within walking distance of the Vineyard Haven ferry boat terminal and to restaurants and coffee. There is a small private beach with chairs and umbrellas which was clean and the water was calm (no waves). Our room was clean. There is a small parking lot onsite and another overflow parking lot down the street. I would stay there again."

"Beautiful hotel in such a convenient location. We loved the camp themed decor and amenities and the staff we extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations and extras (bike and umbrella rentals, towels, bus route, etc.) The room was well appointed with comfortable beds and a beautiful view. Note - there is no elevator in the main part of the hotel so be prepared to get your steps in if you are on an upper floor."

"The host answered questions right away. The home was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch, enjoying the beautiful hydrangea bushes. The location was very convenient to many places to explore on the island. It was a great vacation for our family."

"This property was awesome with a lot of amenities you are able to use. Very good value.Personally we thought there are too many stairs which makes checking in and out more difficult than it needs to be. Best for people 60 and under.Our hosts were right on the money when answering questions and that means a lot!"

"I can’t say enough about this beautiful property. pictures don’t do any justice for this piece of heaven. The flowers were everywhere , it’s so apparent that the property owners take such pride in this beautiful property. The place was spotless when we walked in the door. We met the owners on arrival , they surprised us with a beautiful ballon to celebrate my 50th birthday. My family enjoyed the pool and the fun Tiki. The outdoor fireplace was inviting after the sun went down. I was a little nervous about the owners being on the same property , but they assured us that this was our vacation and they would be available if we needed them but not visible otherwise. They stayed in a separate apartment and reminded us that it was sound proof . Our large party of 10 truly enjoyed our time here at Fresh Pond. We were a bit noisy celebrating and we never heard from anyone . We always felt like we were the only ones on the property. The pond was so tranquil and we even got to see deer and swans. The kayaks were an extra bonus for my family. We used them every day. It is so magical and you can feel the peace everywhere. The apple tree and the raspberry bushes were a bonus for my little ones. I can’t say enough about this amazing place. My first time on MV and it will be the the first of many to come. I can’t imagine staying anyone else. The owners were lovely and made my birthday feel special. Thank you! We will always be grateful for making our stay special."
