"Staff"

"I requested more towels and toilet paper several times, it was never brought to me. My ac waa not working and it was uncomfortably warm, I had to request 4 times before someone came to check it, it was fixed but stopped working again during the evening. In the morning, I called again to request someone come look. No one came. I went downstairs to the desk, complained that no one had ever brought the items, manager (Rocky), stated that items aren't brought to the room, that I would have had to come down to request them. I stated that was not specified during check in. He had a terrible attitude, I asked for a partial refund due to being the majority of my stay. Rocky said, no, contact Expedia. I commented on his poor attitude and stated I'd never recommended this hotel to anyone. He stated "good, we don't want people like you staying here anyway". Breakfast only consisted of yogurt and bagels, should be advertised perhaps as continental breakfast. I would like a refund."

"This hotel has gone downhill since the firstbw times ive stayed there...even w staff. Room...DOG HAIR everywhere. WHY do you put guest in rooms that pets hv been in. REFRIGERATOR DIRTY... Bathroom..Hair everywhere. I called front desk because my tub was holding the water while showering,no one ever showed up to fix it after calling 2xs.. All this after changing rooms because they gave me the wrong room the 1st time...I will never stay here again!! "

"Our reservation was messed up thru no fault of our own. The staff at Spark in Rahway not only fixed it and honored our reservation, but upgraded us to a suite which was roomy, clean and just fabulous at the rate I was originally promised. They didn't have to do it but they did. Customer Service is friendly and superb. I will be booking at the Spark again in the near future. "
