"Wow, Norway is amazing and beautiful — it exceeded even our already lofty expectations. And this VRBO was an excellent choice for the heart of our stay. Its picturesque location was also perfectly situated in the center of many possible day excursions. Coming from the USA, it was a long journey getting here. But the experiences, pictures, and memories that were made, created a once-in-a-lifetime caliber trip! We definitely will make every effort to come back!!!"

"Even if the furniture is quite old, it is clean and totally adequate. It has a very cozy charme. The village is quite quiet and the loudest noise was that of the water stream not far from the house. The only thing that was interesting to put it mildly was the smell coming from the bathroom. One of the water drains was smelly, but you can manage by keeping the window open. All in all it is a cozy little place and we would visit again."

"Wie stellt man sich seinen Urlaub vor??? .....genau so ;-) ....Wir hatten einen fantastischen Urlaub in einer fantastischen Gegend. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gemütlich aber einfach eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und wenn man Hilfe benötigt ist er sofort da. Es war nicht unser letzter Urlaub dort.....Auf jeden Fall eine Weiterempfehlung für alle die, die Natur lieben und auch mit Haustieren reisen."

"A very nice cottage in a beautiful area. The nature is stunning. The cottage is old which is part of its charm. Well equipped kitchen, and there is a traditional wood stove (with a troll under a bridge). Best suited for a family with small kids because the rooms upstairs are low-ceilinged. The owner is extremely helpful. We enjoyed our holiday very much."

"Arrived by ferry from Flåm. Idyllic setting at the end of a beautiful fjord. Had a comfortable and spacious small apartment. Was perfect for the two of us. Dinner on site was very good. Took city bus to flam the next morning. Definitely the best location for an overnight stay!!"

We found Annie is not just a hotel receptionist, she is your local concierge and transportation guru wrapped with a friendly attitude! When you need to get anywhere, Annie show you the map and draw the key points, ensuring your time outside hotel is as smooth as possible. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Beautiful bed & breakfast. Very homely. Staff was very kind and generous. They let us store our bags after check out & we spent some time at the place while waiting for our train. Had access to WC, tea/ coffee. The place was very clean. Breakfast & dinner are included. The dinner was delicious. They even accommodated our request for a vegetarian dinner- beetroot soup, mushroom risotto & dessert! Only note - It’s a good 10 - 12 min walk from the ferry/ train station. You have to carry your suitcases over steps (the staff kindly helped with that). And the room/ bathroom is very tiny - barely room to open the bags. "

"Undeniably a gorgeous location! Communication was a problem but only at 1st. The Expedia message did not work. You have to use WhatsApp to contact them about the door code. Parking is scary if other cars are there. It's a tight squeeze to go anywhere in Undredal though. It's a one-way road, in and out. I will never forget that view though! It was definitely worth the sketchy drive!"

There is no road access so we rented a boat—the only way to get here—through Vik Adventures and the journey itself was part of the adventure, a scenic 25 to 45-minute ride on the fjord from Vikøyri, depending on conditions.The home itself is a quiet, rustic retreat with some modern updates, preserved to maintain its historical features as part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The scenery is absolutely stunning, with enormous waterfalls serving as a backdrop. We spent our time exploring the area, hiking to the top of the mountain where the waterfalls begin, and enjoying the wild berries. We boated to Balestrand for dinner one night. Every evening, we'd sit on the dock listening to the sounds of the falls. This is a perfect escape for anyone looking for an authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience. NOTE: you need to pack your groceries, as there are no stores nearby!"
