"FIRE ALARMS CONSTANTLY GOING OFF!!! Checked in about 11:15 pm, was in elevator going up to room and the fire alarms started going off. Other guests stated they had been there since 3:00 pm that day, and the alarms had been going off repeatedly since their arrival, and the fire department had been there 3 times already. Myself and 6 other guests decided to book rooms nearby due to the fire alarm situation. We all kindly requested refunds, which all were denied by the owner !! Very unethical given the situation!!"

"My stay was very disappointing due to cleanliness issues. The room was not properly cleaned upon arrival, which immediately gave a poor first impression. There were no towels provided, which was inconvenient and unacceptable for a prepared room. Additionally, the curtains had visible stains, and the bed sheets did not appear clean, raising serious concerns about hygiene. Overall, the condition of the room did not meet basic standards, and I would not recommend staying here unless improvements are made."

"This is a very ornate, lovely, old mansion. The GM, Denise is a darling person, easy to work with. Breakfast is in a beautiful dining room. The location is next to downtown and near the river. We loved it!"

"The hotel location was good, very convenient to downtown. The room was fine, bed comfortable, shower good, but the floor was not very clean. "

"Very run down, clean for the most part and housekeeping are wonderful. Some of front desk staff were obviously not trained very well. Property lacked adequate handicap parking. Really needs updating. Our shower was nothing to say anything nothing nice about. Property really needs updates, we had to call the front desk from our personal phone because there was not a working phone in the room. Also had to ask for very basic items that rooms normally have. Although some staff lacked adequate training most made up for it with sort of hospitality "
