Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Put all used bath towels/hand towels on the bathroom floor . Load all used dishes into dishwasher and start cycle . .
Turn of all lights, fans, TVs etc. .Ensure all doors and windows are closed and locked We would appreciate if you guys can move back any furniture you may have moved around during your stay!
All trash to be taken to the dumpster at the end of the driveway. DO NOT leave trash in house or garage.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

I have family in New Albany, Ohio, so this place was ideal to stay in while visiting. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Getting there from Virginia was easy, and I appreciated not having to drive through Columbus traffic to get there. Nice rural roads, yet short distance to shopping centers.

Too Many Issues

I had hoped to give this property a good review. Unfortunately, it seemed like it was a quick flip with little attention to detail. The first impression was an overgrown walkway and slippery steps without a hand rail. There was no mat to wipe our wet shoes inside the door. It is advertised for 13 people, but seating in the large TV room for only 6-7, despite plenty of room for more. It would have been good to know that the house had well water that was brown and smelly. Overall, everything felt dirty, like it hadn't been occupied or cleaned in a while. There were construction issues, such as the toilet on the main floor was too close to the vanity so that we had to sit sideways. Some windows in the TV room didn't lock, and the curtains wouldn't stay up in the one bedroom. There were 2 bad issues. One was standing water and food in the bottom of the dishwasher that smelled horrible when we opened it to load it. Secondly, there was no hot water in the basement bathroom, and we had 10 females in the house. The host was contacted about both these issues.
