Quiet neighborhood

Great location

Location was great to visit family in the area and take some adventures. Preston was quick to respond to requests and questions. Johnson City is a great base for all the area has to offer.

While this property is no longer ‘new’, it is a nice newer Construction unit. The unit is in a quiet area but convenient driving range from town and services/stores/restaurants etc.

We had a great stay at this property. There is plenty of room, and the home is immaculate and organized. It is in a quiet neighborhood. I wish we had another day to enjoy the outside space, but we were busy visiting and taking in the area. I hope to visit again!

Listing was accurate, location was close proximity to many resturaunts, sight seeing outings, music and grocery stores. Everything anybody would need is no more than 10 minutes away. House was very comfortable for my wife and I, plus our teo grandkids stay wi with us for 5 days.

Check in was simple house was exactly as pictured. Very clean from top to bottom. No complaints at all really. If anything the flower beds outside but haha that’s all I complaints I could think of. Haha. Place was amazing. Close to everything.

Very nice house in a quiet neighborhood

The location of this house is excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and getting to it is easy. The covered outdoor lounge area was a nice place to relax and also offered a place to park our motorcycles to keep them out of the weather. There are a few concerns that were listed by another visitor back in February that were not taken care of by the time of our stay. Namely, the master bed needs more supports, there were very few hangers in the closets, the propane tank for the outdoor fire pit was empty however the owner did reimburse us when we got an exchange. A few more pots and pans/skillets are needed along with dinnerware for more than 4-5 people. This is a nice place, it just needs a few details taken care of to make it a great place!

Nice place, but…

Our stay was for 7 nights, so our expectations may be different from a couple only doing weekend stays. The house is cute and the location is great. It’s no longer a “new” home, but rather a 3 year-old home. The Internet is high speed, which is great for streaming videos. On the downside… We awoke to a filthy coffee maker. There was mold growing in the leftover grinds and the carafe was not clean. The king bed in the primary bedroom sags because the center and middle supports will not stay in place. The front door cannot be fully secured because the latch plates and weather stripping are missing. And we could not use the fire pit because the propane tank was empty and no spare available. The kitchen has limited cookware, dishware and silverware - just enough for four persons. There were no dish towels, dish rags, or hand towels for the kitchen. There is a small frying pan, but no larger one for cooking bacon and eggs for two or more persons. And the oven could use a cleaning. We notified the owners of all the issues and they promptly replied with nice apologies and assurances these issues would be handled “immediately”. Preston offered to reimburse me if I exchanged the propane tank, but I feel guests should not be inconvenienced by normal maintenance items. Nothing got fixed during our stay, with the exception of me thoroughly cleaning the coffee pot and grinds holder. This property has so much potential, I hope the owners make it so.

The house was perfect size for our family. It is larger on the inside than it looks on the outside. You could hear the train a couple times- this didn’t bother us. Our only hiccup was the oven would work. We contacted owners and they tried to get it fixed but were unable to get someone out over our weekend stay. With a food allergy we typically meal plan and cook in- with the oven not working we had to improvise, but it all worked out. The stove top did work. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we were back in the area.

We arrived late and went to shower and all the towels were wet and folded. We had to dry the towels before we could shower and not a good supply of towels. One bathroom the tub was not clean and brown on the curtain liner. Pillowcases had holes. The house had a good layout just need a better cleaning crew.
