Staff are friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast has really good choices. The food is delicious also when eating from the lunch/dinner menu. The hotel has a modern interior and lovely seating area near the pool to relax. Location was perfect and central for our needs.

They had a nice water view from the dining areas and we were told that at times they have had hippos gather there. We did get to see any but would have loved to get to experience it. Definitely will need to plan a second visit.

Good value for money, not AT the airport though

Decent price, rooms were clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Soaker tub was really nice. While only a few minutes' drive away, this is not *at* JNB airport. There is *a* City Lodge at JNB, but not this one, and you have to pay to take the shuttle or Uber. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of. Also - why are there no fridges in the rooms?

No elevater had to carry own luggage up stairs. Not for older lady travellers. I don't like to complain, but I would never stay there again. Ist room had bed bugs, I always check before i even take my shoes off! Yes got another room. They were kind and supportive about that. Just didn't need the drama. Also no telepnone calls when my husband called. I was asked to talk to hubby on reception desk he would be calling again in 10 minutes.

My first time using and it was delightful. It needs a taxi or an Uber but once you are there it wonderful. There does appear to be some renovations going on, but it did not affect our one night stop. Recommended!
