"Perfect location just across the street from Kenrokuen gardens. For a tiny house, we had plenty of space for our group of 4. It is on a main road, so there's quite a bit of car noise in the bedroom on the first floor, but the second floor bedroom was very quiet. We took a kintsugi art class with Hana, found on Viator, that was outstanding!"

"This was our first time at a ryokan. The staff and facilities ensure a tranquil and relaxing visit. When one first checks in the guest is treating like royalty with beautiful robe (I cannot remember the correct robe), tea, and an explanation of the facilities. The room was an apartment. Lovely views, The onsen in the room and the view of mountains was luxurious and calming. The chef is a master. Although I do not eat most of the dishes, the chef prepares dishes so that I could eat. The steamed seabream was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had. There is a tea service available which is also quite nice. A short distance from the Onsen are trails through the mountains and around a lake."

"Clean with a beautiful view and great restaurants. Check out Coffee House Bonjin for breakfast or 美味しんぼ for dinner. Parking is down the street, but there’s a spot onsite for loading/unloading (and possibly overnight parking, but please ask first, we just followed instructions sheet in the lobby). The place was incredibly quiet. I’d definitely stay again!"
