The fishing is great! Trails are close by. Enjoy summer in the Northwoods!

"It was a beautiful location with a peaceful lake. It is advertised to sleep 5 people, which it could, but for a long weekend, i think it would be most comfortable with about 3 people. It is conveniently located to many towns and attractions. We really appreciated the extra room for bikes and sporting gear since we were up for a mountain bike race. We are looking forward to staying there again!!"
Hayward, Round Lake Retreat! Private dock, 3 kayaks, beautifully maintained!

"Great cabin and wonderful host. Everything was perfect from location to all amenities listed in the vbro. Host was very responsive to our questions as well as to giving great suggestion of things to do and places to have a great meal. Weather for us was a little disappointing but we were there for relaxation and time away which we had. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need or you forgot to bring. Great place to stay, right on the water caught a few small ones. If you are looking for a great place on the water stop scrolling this is the one. Thanks Liz for everything, you are by far the best host ever."
Family Friendly Cottage w/Spectacular Views of Round Lake-Hayward, WI

"Great location for lake views and sunsets. Well maintained and clean on arrival. Available garage for the car is nice if the weather gets nasty. Quite a cardio workout down to the dock area and back up. 76 steps in all, one way. But, it's worth the trip. Caught a nice small mouth bass right off the dock. Shore line is rocky, so you'll need beach shoes if you want to do any wading. Plenty of wood for the evening campfires. Plenty of decks and chairs to choose from around the house for a variety of views. Should be really special in the fall when the leaves turn. You are on a dead end road, so very little traffic if you want to take a hike on the road. Gas grill has a few miles on it, but it worked fine. Overall we highly recommend this rental for a small group, or even an old, retired couple like us, just needing a relaxing summer getaway. Thank You for sharing your home with us!- Tom & Jan"
"Our family really enjoyed staying. We like Moose Lake because it’s a little more quiet than some of the other lakes in the area and this cabin is in a great location. It was great to have a nice new dock to use for our boat, but the kids loved catching tadpoles and baby turtles off the dock. We caught a variety of fish near the dock, but the highlight was a musky on our second cast. The housing was clean and cozy and the kids loved the bunk bed. We cooked most of our meals at the cabin and we had everything we need - except maybe a large kitchen knife. We did go down the road once to Louie’s Landing for a dinner because it’s the perfect Moose Lake hang. Jamie (the owner) was super friends and we really appreciated his flexibility when it came to a last minute schedule change. He didn’t have to do that, but he was great."
"Very friendly hosts!!! Made us feel welcome with multiple drop offs of fantastically- delicious brownies and sand volleyball games for our 20-somethings. Strong community feel!!"
"The lake is great. No noisy gas motors, came with a pair of loons and some good size pike. The location was excellent. Right by the river, hiking trails and in between Hayward and Cable. We loved it!"
