"Nice room, clean, had everything needed, but quite small, especially for two people. Beautiful location, over looking the town, yet only about a 15-minute walk to the center."

"Location is good, opposite is the ski resort, which has good snow. Overall room was well maintained, public Onsen was nice too. However we came during early ski season, there is barely any restaurants opens. Hotel cafe food is a bit expensive, and not much choice (mainly western). If plan to stay may order half board instead, or tell hotel staff to reserve dinner before 10am"

"Staff all very friendly, tourist/English friendly, tasty breakfast options (Japanese or Western), 4 nice spas, clean all around, Kusatsu great city to visit, would stay again!"
"The room was really spacious with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was included but dinner we ate out as the hotel is large and they can't accommodate everybody. This was not a problem as there were so many restaurants in town. You do need to time the shuttle bus well though. Overall, a brilliant place to visit and really worth the money."
"I had a wonderful stay at Urakusatsu Tou in Kusatsu, Japan. The hotel is very clean, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The onsen was well-maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment — a perfect way to unwind after exploring Kusatsu. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!"
