This upscale organic modern apartment is in a historic Italianate Victorian building that was built in 1840. Along with all the modern conveniences, it features a 2 person whirlpool in a dramatic stone and tile bathroom with built in quart crystal art work by McCoy Designs.

This location is in historical Jim Thorpe, only a 3 to 8 minute walk away from the restaurants, bars, live music and historical attractions. Located on the ground floor with easy access to off-street parking

What a great place

We had a wonderful stay. Jim Thorpe is such a wonderful reminder of a different time and Jeffreys place gives easy access to all the best places while being just a bit off the crazy busy part of town. Our apartment was spacious, clean, modern and had a gorgeous bathroom. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. U would recommend this stay to anyone.

Wonderful place!

Clean and cozy! Property managers were very attentive. We had everything we needed for the short term stay. The place had nice “vintage charm” with modern amenities. We appreciated the privacy and the many recommended activities and restaurants that were provided to us. We look forward to being able to visit again soon!

Weekend getaway

Perfect size for me and my partner. Our favorite part was relaxing in the huge whirlpool bath! The unit smelled clean as soon as we went in and the home is extremely cozy. The fireplace was a nice touch when we were winding down at night. The location is extremely convenient and walking distance from the main town. We had such a great time and Jeff was super prompt with his responses and provided lots of recommendations. Thank you for having us, Jeff! Will book again in the future.

Even more beautiful than the pictures. Old Jailhouse is literally across the street. Information from Jeffrey was above and beyond. Many dining suggestions as well as things to do which were all in walking distance. We loved our stay at The Guest House and hope to come back to Jim Thorpe and the Guest House soon!

Thank you so much Jeffery for making our stay over so delightful. You are a role model for VRBO owners. I loved the details of the apartment including the porch swing, shared patio space, coffee supplies, and comfy bed. The tub was the perfect ending to a full day of hiking. Amazing little gem of a town

Absolutely fell in love with the area! Our rental was super cute and cozy and felt like home. Pets enjoyed the stay despite the town having little grass, lots of parks and trails to take them to for their business. Stayed during the week which made it more enjoyable and able to fit everything in we wanted to do since most places are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays or odd days like that in order to be open during the weekend. Highly recommend staying with the high street property group and visiting Jim Thorpe PA. Everyone is so friendly! If you so the train ride sit on the side away from where you border you’ll see more.

Perfect solo outing

This was my first solo venture following my husband's unexpected death and I chose Jim Thorpe because we've visited together in the past and I knew I would feel comfortable both in the town and in the property. I've stayed in many rental properties, but this one remains one of my favorites. The owners are lovely and wonderful to work (and talk!) with. The property is immaculate and undergoes continual maintenance and upgrades. The location is perfect -- easy to park the car and walk to everything. If you've ever been to Jim Thorpe, you know that parking is at a premium -- so the dedicated off-street parking space that comes with the property is a major bonus. There is absolutely nothing that I don't like (except that it is getting so popular that it's hard to find an open weekend!).

Wonderful property! Don't hesitate to book!

I booked for a few days during Christmas with my mom and I brought my dog. The property was easy to get to, the parking was very convenient. We were in apartment F which was decorated for the holidays and was so warm and welcoming - they even had a Christmas tree in the living room! We had everything we needed and more. In particular, the private drive/parking area was really nice to have some space to let my dog roam around. The owner was very communicative - I don't think I waited more than a few minutes between asking questions and him responding! Overall, I'm really happy with the rental and I would 100% book again. Don't hesitate here! I didn't see the other apartments available, but based on ours (again, we stayed in apartment F), I would recommend any of them!

This was a lovely place to stay in Jim Thorpe. We arrived by bicycle and were thrilled to find the nice little extra touches provided (cold seltzer in the fridge, shampoo, etc in the shower). It was a nice walk into town for dinner as well.
