"After being around Costa Rica for two and a half weeks, and staying at various hotels and lodges, we found the Vistas las Islas to be the best accommodation on this trip. "The location was perfect — with easy access to Curú Park, Santa Teresa, and Montezuma. Cóbano was just a few minutes away, offering great supermarkets and an ATM, which made things very convenient. The resort itself was beautiful, well‑kept, and thoughtfully landscaped. The pool was magnificent; we swam multiple times a day, including refreshing evening swims. Staff members Emy and Andrea were wonderful — welcoming, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay. Food at the hotel was delicious, and breakfast was included, which was a great touch. We also loved discovering a few local sodas within walking distance — each one was amazing and added to the authentic experience. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Tambor Tropical offers a blend of comfort, hospitality, and easy access to nearby adventures that makes it a standout choice in the area."

"It is a very beautiful property with amazing views! The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning. The food was great and reasonably priced. (We have had a hard time with finding good food for a good price in the previous places we stayed. The beach was incredible! It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season."
