"Everything was fine - nothing exceptional. Great location and clean. The breakfast was not great. Stale bread. Not fresh pastries (in plastic) - coffee out of a machine."

"Lovely historic houses with beautiful old furniture. You eat in the main house (breakfast/dinner (30euros 3 courses), so if you are staying in the lower house (a complex of 6 rooms with a lovely garden and the option to use the sauna and hot tub for an additional charge) you need to walk 5mins for food. Extra activities include making chimney cake, bear watching, tour of Castle Kalnoky. We did have a car so drove to Varghus gorge for a lovely walk to see the caves (cost 50lei car park). NB if you want your room made up remember to put the make up room sign on the door"

"Classy hotel with all amenities. Felt transported back a hundred years, but with a fresh look. Excellent breakfast with many choices for cheese and little creams and sauces. Liked the welcoming glass of cucumber water and cookies on a hot summer day. Parking was close on a public parking with a day pass through the TPark app for about $4."

"The location is great since it is within the old citadel, but beware that you must park down in the town. And there is no air conditioning. Overall it was a nice stay, but I would not come again in the summer."
