Wooden house with character at Dalby Huse Strand

You’ll find an authentic 1970s gem built of wood, where most of the house consists of one large, open space. Here, you can cook in the spacious kitchen, gather around the table, relax on the sofa, or enjoy the warmth from the wood-burning stove with its large glass front.

Inside, the kitchen, dining area, and living room flow together into one inviting space that opens directly onto the garden. The large sofa is perfect for film nights, while the wood-burning stove creates a warm atmosphere on chilly evenings.

The garden features mirabelle plum trees and blackberries, surrounded by flowers, shrubs, and trees that you can explore. The 20-square-meter covered terrace extends the outdoor season—it’s almost completely sheltered from the wind here, while you enjoy the view of the garden, where squirrels and pheasants often stop by.

Take the forest trail down to Dalby Huse Beach and enjoy the view of the water. Visit Jægerspris Castle with its royal forests filled with Viking burial sites and deer, or sample the excellent ice cream from Hansen’s Dairy.
