Harmony Suites

10/10 Excellent

". Not interested in getting in to manhattan traffic so staying across the river was the answer. Took bus right outside hotel to New York subway. Dropped us off at 42 street . Perfect. Took E train to trade center for the day. Breakfast was good and room was very comfortable for 4 . Would stay again."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clifton/Rutherford

8/10 Good

"The staff were great and my wife loved the coffee. Air conditioning was nice and quiet (what a change from other hotels!) and worked well. Breakfast was good - I see a lot of raves, I don't understand that but it was more than adequate. Odd thing was that the bed frame was hollow steel form (likely because we were in a pet-friendly room) and we seemed to constantly tap it and create a booming sound! Place and grounds are undergoing renovation so it will be better in the future. Very odd coming into the hotel, from Route 3, and a vacant building is our first view."
