The hotel is a 20-30 minute taxi ride from Jeju City, the main city that you fly into. Taxi rates varied from 12000 to 22000 won due to drivers either taking the scenic route because tourists don't know any better (or something).
As a three-star hotel, the facilities are how you'd expect. You have your bathroom with your toiletries but keep in mind that there is no divider between the shower section of the bathroom and the rest of the bathroom. You need to wipe the floor with a used/spare towel to ensure you don't slip. Additionally, the towel are pretty small (I am used to the typical towels sold in America). Other than that, the floors are hardwood and they provide slippers so you don't track in dirt. Beds are comfortable and there's even a small balcony that you enjoy the sea breeze and ocean views from!
Besides the nearby Hamdeok Beach - a huge tourist attraction - there are few other things you can do within walking distance. In the same building, there is a burger place that you can grab a bite to eat without having the leave the comforts of the air conditioning while still getting a gorgeous view of the ocean. Just outside is a 7/11 if you forgot something at home or need a quick snack. Down the road on the east there are your beaches, a couple of tourist shops, and a handful of restaurants that you can eat delicious seafood, Italian, and more burgers.
The location is great if you want a place away from the city but there aren't a lot of tourist attractions!
