This hotel was above and beyond our expectations! An unbeatable price and a 5 out of 5 star stay. Everything from cleanliness and location , to the friendly and helpful staff was top notch. Thank you to everyone who made our first visit to Jeju a memorable one.

We stayed for 4 nights. It was an adequate hotel. I booked it for the pool, but unfortunately it was closed in April (I think it's only open July-Sep). Room was spacious. We could not get the room cool enough as we were told by front desk staff there was 'no AC', though we could see the AC unit in the room but just had no ability to turn it on (it was always 22-23C and we like to sleep at around 20). No toothbrush/razor/typical amenities of a 4 star. You just get coffee/tea, water bottles, and shampoo/body wash. Good location in Old Jeju City and was good value for cost. Walkable to black pork street, along the coast, and Dongmun market. In the future we'd consider staying in New Jeju City.

Happy stay at Whistlelark Hotel
1 week stay at Whistlelark Hotel. Location is Superb- easy access to shoppings and Foods. Hotel service is okay as communications seems to be an issues.[ Language barrier] Rooms facing either the sea or Hallasan Mountains. Breakfast is Good. Free parking if you park your car. Overall is Good.

The property was in disrepair and was dirty. Towels and bed sheets were frayed. Welcome mat to hotel lobby was ripped and a tripping hazard. Almost tripped every time I walked in. Also, front desk staff emphasizes that damages or broken things in the room will be charged for, but the bed room table lamp is broken already. I had to call and tell them at checkout to make sure they didn’t charge me for something in poor condition before my arrival. Glad I only stayed one night.

Fair hotel for the price
Reception not welcoming. It’s look they are not use to foreign visitors. The room itself was in a fair condition and clean. For the price I didn’t expect the best room amenities. They at least can be friendly and welcoming. Very conveniently situated and near the airport.

Pleasant stay
Overall nice hotel. We had a room with a sea view. The room for 3 people was a bit small but ok. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and maintained ok. Big downside was that the outdoor pool was closed for renovation, which was not mentioned when booking. We stayed there beginning of June.

We were there for one night and checked in around dinner time and gone by 9:30am the next morning so didn’t get to see the whole hotel or check any amenities. From what we did get to use, parking was not easy and no parking attendant to park my car in the underground after 10pm or self serve option like the last hotel, probably should provide guests with disposable slippers as the ones that were in the room didn’t look very inviting. I would give this hotel another try to check out the area.

They advertise the pool overlooking the ocean and the rooms being really nice but when we got there, the pool was closed and emptied which is weird because it is June. Also the rooms had hair everywhere, we were peeling hair off of our feet. I wasn't happy with this experience.

I feel this hotel is old school and male dominated (boys club), only saw one female staff. I stayed on the 17th floor for 3 nights, gym was located above so I could hear banging noise. Room was dark, bathtub leaked water, toothbrush was provided but the cleaning lady kept throwing them away and I had to reopen a new one, not sustainable. Dated but it's good enough

A Beautifully Positioned Hotel in Jeju
A beautifully positioned hotel which is in desperate need of a refresh. Not really geared up for English speaking tourists. The room was very tired and extremely uncomfortable beds but lovely bedding. Great view though

Great Hotel
We enjoyed staying at the Whistle Lark. Rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful. However, the carpet in the hallway is very old and stained. It took away from the clean look of the hotel. Carpet in rooms were old and stained as well. We kept our slippers on at all times. We definitely will stay here again.

With all the competition between hotels on the island and for as much as this place charges, you'd think they'd replace the absolutely DISGUSTING hallway carpets or spend a little money on maintenance. Got two rooms. One had small holes in the wall, and the door wouldn't shut. My TV didn't work. No amenities like toothpaste.

The hotel is conveniently located near bus-stop and food centre whereby you could walk to the nearby Dongdemum Market. There are many stall there and we enjoyed the way they cooked the food when they dance through their K-POP songs and bring up the whole fun atmosphere while queueing for your food. The mattress is a bit old and too soft whereby it loop sided too for the room I stayed. Pillows were a bit too soft that you needed two pillow to stack up together in order to have a good night sleep. Overall, the hotel is great especially I like the housekeeper whom are so friendly and helpful.

The room was dirty and smelly. I tried to keep the window open, but the insect screen had a lot of holes. I asked the front desk to change the room, and they changed the room, but the manager was not very happy about it. The new room was a bit better (the insect screen did not have holes), but the moly smell was the same. I had another night in the other hotel in Jeju. It was the same price but was much better.

I loved that the hotel was right on the beach along with my ocean view from my room as well. Rooms were nice and clean, loved the comfortable bed. Enjoyed using the bidet, what a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful during the stay. One of the staff in the morning helped us tremendously to find a personal driver for the only day to spend during our stay. The driver took us to many wonderful places for the limited time we had to spend. I would recommend others to stay at the hotel. My family and I were hoping for connecting rooms, but they were not available. However, they were accommodating by putting our rooms next to each other (FABULOUS). Thank you
