Smuggler`s Trove is truly a treasure that includes 2,036 SF of total living area on 2 private acres, with a wraparound balcony and a gorgeous pool table game room, that also includes 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Our location could not be better being located a 5 minute drive from the ski resort, a 2 minute walk to Smuggler`s cross country ski trail and, in the summer, we are on the same street as Arbortrek Canopy Adventures with ziplines and treeline challenges
🍍Your Host 🍍 Your hosts will be the Ruggieros who bought this piece of Vermont gold in 2025 as their dream getaway for skiing, hiking, biking, adventuring, and even playing disc golf. They have two amazing young children who love being so close to nature and surrounded by so many fun things that happen at Smugglers all year round.
🏖️ About Smuggler`s Trove 🏡 Smuggler`s Trove is spacious and incredibly homey. It has four bedrooms, two of which are on the upstairs - main level - and two, including the primary bedroom located on the top - upstairs level - floor. The main entrance is located downstairs into the mud room and pool table are at. The bedrooms sleep 8 people comfortably and the living room is open to the kitchen and dining room as well as the deck that wraps around the entire main level that overlooks the mountain trails.
The living room has plentiful seating as well as a sunken fire-nook that is our favorite place to let kids hang out or even eat as the `kids table`! We have an XX` brand new Samsung TV that allows for streaming and casting from any phone on the same wifi network as well as countless movie channels via Samsung and Roku`s built in TV channel service. Our wifi is provided from Fidium and is 1G download with fiber optic connection. . The primary bedroom `Mansfield`` is named after the largest peak in Vermont with the most spectacular views, not unlike our favorite bedroom! It includes a luxurious queen-sized sleigh bed with plenty of room, a clothes closet and complete views of the mountains from the foot of your bed. Mansfield is located upstairs on the top floor along with `Thomke`s Express`, named for a fun & fast family trail on the mountain. It has two twin beds. There is a shared bathroom upstairs with a large glass enclosed shower accessed via the hallway.
Downstairs we have the `Sterling `` bedroom is named for a peak at Smugglerd Notch that is approachable and fun to ski down. It has a full sized bed and is on the main level with private access via a sliding door to the wraparound deck. We have `Bootlegger`s Bunkhouse` that is located just off the living area and has two twin beds that are perfect for youngsters. The main level has a shared full bathroom with tub and shower accessible from the hallway for sleeping guests as well as those in the living room.
Downstairs there is the game room and foyer. A full size red pool table awaits you to spend time playing when you`re not on the mountain. We have an original cast iron wood stove that heats the room there as well as a half bathroom for your convenience.
Heat is provided throughout the main and upper levels via 5 Bosch split AC/Heaters, one for each room and one for the living room. In addition we have back up electric baseboard throughout the cabin, a natural gas heater downstairs to go along with the cast iron wood stove in the game room and the fireplace in the living room.

Cross Country skiing, too is everywhere at Smuggs, called ther Nordic Center and also allows for snowshoeing.
Smugglers Water Park! One of the best kept secrets is that smuggler`s notch has one of the best open air swim parks in Vermont. They have a dozen pools located throughout the resort with a 3 story water slide at one end and a three pool step slide at another. It is a full day and a great way to enjoy Vermont in the summer.
