So much is within easy day-tripping distance, including Bretton Woods Ski Area (seven miles), Santa's Village (seven miles), Mt. Washington Resort and Spa (eight miles), the Mt. Washington Cog Railway (13 miles), and Littleton's restaurants, breweries, and theater scene (20 miles).

After a day out and about at Story Land (32 miles), come home to unwind on the covered front porch and watch your kids play in the enormous yard. Take in the view of the surrounding mountains and forest, and cozy up by the firepit to roast marshmallows once the sun goes down.
