Great Girls GA Getaway
The property has great views. It's an adventure driving up from the gatehouse. The house had everything we needed for our weekend get away. We especially enjoyed the sun room!!!!

Beautiful but misleading
The listing stated that the property had Internet a pool and a lake view. Upon reaching the cabin, there was no lake close to where I was staying and the Internet did not work. Therefore, I could not do my work from home for the month that I stayed there and access to the pool was difficult. The lights outside on the driveway did not work as well. I rented a cabin for a month, expecting to be able to do some work from the cabin and unfortunately I was not able to accomplish that. However the cabin and the surroundings was very beautiful, relaxing and enjoyable. I just wish it had been more accurate with the Internet because I would probably not have rented the cabin because as I stated I needed to do work, and I was unable to do so.

Will stay there again
There were some difficulties, but I made phone calls and there were quick responses. I loved the privacy and the sleeping situation. My room was always quiet. We especially liked having pets. The house was clean, parking was easy, and it was cool there.

Short get away
It was only 45 min away from our home, but felt like we escaped out of state. The area was beautiful and well maintained. Lots of wild life and picturesque. Our cabin was surprisingly larger than we had expected. It was quiet, clean and relaxing. We enjoyed the no contact easy arrival process. Our dogs were happy and comfortable during our stay too which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Our stay was nice, we didn’t find the pool and beach til the last day there, directions weren’t included to that, lots of bugs outside and in, dirty dishes in the cabinets, hot water runs out in about ten minutes, don’t recommend driving a standard because you are at the top of a mountain, no Wi-Fi even though once you get there there is a password to it on the fridge, pretty sure there was rodents somewhere in the house you could hear them chewing at night. Conveniently located if visiting Atlanta at all, beautiful scenery, very quiet, steep driveway would t recommend a low sitting car, lots of wildlife. Nice pool and beach area be prepared for your calves to get a work out!

Good place to enjoy some peace and quiet in the mountains.
This cabin is great for our family of four, due to the loft having a third bed. There are two proper bedrooms downstairs, where each of our children slept, and my wife and I took the upstairs bed, which also has its own bathroom. The deck is nice and big, though it does not have the patio swing that is pictured in two of the property photos. They should update those shots or state as such, as that was a disappointment. There is a little covered area with two swings, but it’s not on the deck, so it’s not as natural to hang out there while grilling food and eating in the evening. There is no wifi as of now, but that was clearly stated in the description, so I can’t fault them for the honesty. The service isn’t great, at least for T-Mobile. It worked for messages and YouTube, but many websites struggled to load. The drive can be a bit challenging if you aren’t accustomed to mountain driving. There are some sharp turns and steep slopes to traverse. It wasn’t an issue for me, but I can see it being difficult for someone not used to it. I also avoided going home after dark to not have to deal with the roads when they’re harder to see. The drive is worth it though, as it is very quiet and beautiful at the cabin. We saw tons of dear walk right on by, and supposedly there are bears too! The community is great, and the added comfort of a security check-in makes the whole area feel that much safer.

The Bent Tree Community Ozzes Charm

Perfectly Peaceful Place
We had a lovely retreat that was truly relaxing, refreshing and restoring. It’s a real home away from home with charming decor, high on a mountain top with incredible views! The kitchen is fully stocked (except for a pair of scissors, lol!). The beds were very comfortable and it was clean, clean, clean! We highly recommend this for any Georgia getaway.

Enjoyed the property. Would recommend that if you are arriving after dark that you have security escort you to the property. Allow extra driving time to your various destinations during your stay as you are in the Georgia mountains and roads have lots of twists and turns. Wished there had been more near by walking paths for us and our dogs. House has everything you need except food. The coffee pot is old style, not K-cup compatible so take ground coffee. Filters were on site.

Nestled in the mountains this is a cozy home to get out over a weekend with stunning sunrise’s and sunset’s. Many hikes nearby that you can explore. Overall house was clean, with comfy beds. However the main level bathroom door needs to be fixed as it would not lock. The water for showers was not hot and the tub clogged. This would be an issue for folks staying more than 2 nights. We enjoyed our stay!

Stayed local while having floors sanded at our home
Overall it was OK. The couch and mattresses definitely need to be replaced. There is not a comfortable bed in the house! Also the couch cushions are not at all firm when you sit on them. The recliner is broken. Other than that, cabin was clean and well stocked with dishes etc.

Treetop house with amazing views!
Great stay in Bent Tree community near town of Jasper. House was even decorated for Christmas! Very comfortable, cozy place with open floor plan and 2 bedrooms main level with bath and open loft with additional bed and reading nook and second bath. It is very hilly with narrow winding roads to get up to the property. Took some nerves of steel initially to find it. Our GPS also wasn’t entirely accurate, and the house has a lot number, house number, and house name (Behr Ridge) are on driveway post. Suggestion to pack provisions to minimize running back out as several miles to nearest store. Recommend property stock basic coffee supplies. Really enjoyed the town and surrounding area. Nice hikes in the neighborhood - visit their site for trail info. Had a nice Sunday brunch at The 19th Hole Tavern by the golf course. Burnt Mountain Preserve and Fainting Goat winery are a few miles away and close together for a fun outing.

Peaceful Getaway
The two bedrooms on the first floor along with the upstairs loft provided plenty of space for 3 of us and a dog. The area was so peaceful and quiet that you could hear the acorns falling from the trees. Plenty of back porch area to look onto the trees and hills. We were not aware of the winding roads prior to getting there but found we loved the mountain adventure!

Very nice home. Great views from the mountain top; we enjoyed incredible sunsets.
We enjoyed staying at the Bent Tree Community; quiet and friendly. Enjoyed a few of the short hikes on the property and saw a mama bear and her cub. The home was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished. We would rent this home again.

This property exceeded expectations. I am in the hospitality business (hotels) and this property was IMMACULATE! everything from the baseboards to the kitchen were the cleanest I’ve ever seen in any rental. Everything was just as described. Clean, comfy, and a great home for a quick getaway. Nearby downtown Jasper has a great Farmers Market on Saturdays (seasonally), there are a couple of cute shops, and the Mule House Restaurant was delicious and fresh. Our one complaint was that the internet connection wasn’t great, but it was honestly a nice incentive to unplug for a weekend. Would definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed the clean, fully equipped kitchen. I felt like I was home. I had inquired about the grill and was assured it was functional. When I arrived I found it dirty, broken and not fully connected to the propane tank. A pool was also advertised but I later found that one pool was closed and the other one limited users to property owners and immediate family. I understand that this was a precaution due to COVID but it would have been nice if this had been communicated to me in advance as it was advertised as an amenity. Overall it was a GREAT stay and I would not hesitate to rent this unit again.

Great Ladies Trip
Very nice and very clean place. Well kept and had everything you needed. Disappointed the pool was not open. Would have been nice to know there was a small beach and lake nearby and we could have brought things to sit on the beach and float on the water with us.

Weekend getaway
Beautiful home tucked away from the business of life! We enjoyed having access to the hiking trails, waterfall, beach and horse stables in the neighborhood. Home was clean, yard inundated with weeds in some places but I suppose that’s what happens in the woods. We’d rent again!
