"First romantic holiday with my partner, spent £130+ on the valentine room. The whole hotel was filthy and staff extremely unhelpful. The room was VERY dirty, finger marks all over the mirrors and windows, dirt on the back of doors, a mushroom growing out of the mirror!!! The wardrobe door didn't open so no place to store clothes the blinds out of the balcony type seating area did not open, the shower dribbled and the water was freezing! The hotel had 2 'restaurants' stating they serve separate...

"It was a very good hotel and around 3kms from hotel however the area is slightly away from Corbyn's Cove but near to cellular jail. The stay at hotel was comfortable and I even got an upgraded room. The room had extremely clean toilet so much so that I felt it was a brand new commode. The bed was very comfortable and was of any good 4 star hotel. "Unfriendly welcome by desk staff. One member (Khushboo) seemed to be interested only in flogging a higher priced room instead of providing the service paid for. And the other ( Ram) was clueless in most aspects. There was no point in asking him anything - just got blank view! The hotel had even made me pay in FULL when I booked 8 weeks prior - which was against the Hotels.com policy ( which allows you to pay on arrival). The restaurant staff were good. "
