Very nice place. Very private.

Great one night get away. Home was very clean and set up for all our needs. Tucked in the woods and very private. Little trick on getting the boat in and out but it all worked out.

Clean & decor was nice, had everything we needed, warm house, easy checkin, tv was nice & kitchen was nice, location not far from town, need to clean up wood in back yard & work on driveways, favorite parts were lights on front deck (few bulbs need replaced)& bathroom tile in the shower was beautiful

Horrific Trying to Find It--Surprisingly Adorable, Comfortable Home

Address was inaccurate, no sign, no address on mailbox, driveway difficult to see, house looked abandoned and drive long deserted. Door code inaccurate. Difficulty getting actual code. Spent extra hour trying to find the house and half hour on the porch trying to get the right code. The house was clean, comfortable and very homey. It was a delightful find, once we found it and got inside.

2nd year here; good location, very nice house, convenient for our needs. Drive is steep and can be slick, less able-bodied people may struggle with stairs to front or log steps to back door, interior is great.

Lake Daze, Blue Cottage

This property was a fabulous stay for my significant other, son, dog and I for our recent Spring Break getaway. The property itself was accurately described in the listing and everything was so clean, comfy and cozy as well. We enjoyed the lake like setting, decorations and even the cabinet drawer handles were similar to the actual ones that you tie up to. The location was really convenient to shopping, boat ramps and all of the nearby sites as well. The restaurant/coffee/ice cream shop just a short walk behind the cottage was perfect in every way- great coffee and the treats made that an everyday stop. I recommend staying here and if it's cooler, throw some logs on the fire and enjoy the evening!

Perfect Location for Lake Cumberland

Very nice, cozy, clean cottage. Highly recommended. Comfy beds, plenty of home amenities provided. Owner communication. 1/2 mile from Lake Cumberland which is where we spent all weekend whether you're bringing your own boat which can be parked here or going out via water taxi which is how we got back & forth, worked perfectly for us. Lovely front porch for morning coffee or evenings/night time. We will definitely remember this place for return trips to Cumberland

The property is on a hill and not goodfor boats. We busted tail lights on out boat trailer, twice.,

House was nice but still need some work done on it. Not good for boat parking as advertised. It’s on a steep hill, busted tail lights on boat trailer, not once but twice. Cost 125.00 to repair.

Watch out for the Mice

We stayed at this property on 6.26.24 & 6.27.24 and paid almost $700 for both nights. The property is not in as clean of condition as I had thought it would be based on the photos which was a disappointment. Then when we wake up on the morning of 6.27 we noticed that mice had eaten through the plastic of our food items that was left out on the kitchen counter and there were mice droppings all over the kitchen counter. I was completely grossed out and had to keep this away from my kids or they would have freaked out and refused to stay the second night. I literally couldn't wait to get out of this place. I guess what really aggravates me is that we had no prior warning about this. The property manager texted me the day before check out to find out what time we planned on leaving and I told her about the mice situation. She was not surprised and said they have had a mice problem for a little bit and thought they had gotten rid of them. It would have been nice to get a heads up that there had been a mice problem and we should keep things off the counter and in places mice can't get to. For the amount of $ that I paid for this place it should have been spotless and I shouldn't have had to deal with mice. I stayed in much cheaper places before without the mice problem but was trying to have a better experience with this trip.

Great location, very comfortable, and pet friendly. We had friends at the campground behind the house, so it was great to walk over on the path in the back yard. We also checked out the state park and Lily Creek falls. Beautiful area!

Great place for a weekend getaway

Our stay here was great. I came for a weekend away fishing the lake and river with my brother-in laws and we had a great time. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the Jamestown area of lake Cumberland.

Delightful place close to the marina

The home was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. I will say that parking anything larger than a bass boat would be difficult as there is not much room to maneuver a trailer. Note that the driveway is steep, and you should be mindful of your skeg as you start up the hill, mine dug a decent trench in the road.

Great location and so clean!

We loved our stay here! The location is great. Such a quick drive down the hill to the lake and just a quick walk up the hill behind the house took us to a great place for breakfast/coffee and also pretty good pizza for dinner. The house was very clean and comfortable and the owners were easily reached had we needed anything but we didn’t. Everything was great!
