"At check in, the front desk person thought it would by okay to carry on a conversation with another person while checking me in. That doubled the time to complete the check in. Off to an annoying start.
Presently this location is undergoing renovation. So that impacts the "look" and useability of the lobby and the Bistro area. And there were confusing/contradicting signs on when the Bistro opened and closed.
The room itself was too dark - just a lot of very low-watt lightbulbs.
The toilet had a problem and the first attempt to fix it failed. Had to call the front desk again. The second attempt, later in the evening, got the job done, thankfully, but flooded the bathroom in the process. The maintenance guy on the second visit had to rework the anti-syphon tubing. He was most gracious, knew what had to be done, and stuck to it. So kudos to him."
