"I had assumed incorrectly that Zanzistar was on the beach, so when I arrived, I was really disappointed. I felt claustrophobic in the garden which is surrounded on all sides by high fences. The beach bar which is a 5-minute walk away was underwhelming and there were lots of people smoking. Unless you lay in the front row, in the sun, you couldnt really enjoy the sea view. "Struttura nuova e molto ben curata! Personale a dir poco fantastico, gentilissimo e disponibile a qualunque richiesta. Unica pecca, il percorso per raggiungere il mare. Bisogna attraversare un villaggio, che a priori potrebbe intimorire gli ospiti ma che poi alla fine risulta invece una piacevole esperienza, dove si vede come vivono i residenti. "

"This is the best villa we’ve stayed at. It’s right on Jambiani beach which is a really beautiful and calm beach (compared to Paje and those in the north such as Nungwi and Kendwa). It has only 3 villas with a pool, so there’s privacy and it’s quiet. We stayed 4 nights at the second floor villa (Bibi Juu) which had a large balcony where we had our breakfast while looking out at the Indian Ocean. "On arrival we were immediately upgraded to a sea view room. Location and beach are good. Nice room with great view and air conditioning which is a must. All staff were very friendly. The chef is excellent and we really enjoyed our evening meals I would like to add that the manager Kariem is a credit to the running of this hotel. Thanks Kariem and i look forward to meeting up with you in the future. "
