Excellent restaurant

Nice hotel, good and clean room. Free parking close to the hotel. Nice people at the lobby. Good breakfast but excellent dinner in the restaurant. Thanks for a very nice stay.

The room was 27 degrees celsius which was way too hot. We couldn’t adjust heat of the radiators or the air conditioner so had to open the window to cool down the room. The breakfast menu was underwhelming. The juice machine was not in use. The fruits were not fresh. The beds were comfortable and the overall comfort of the room were ok.

Close to everything we wanted to see in Jakobstad. Wonderful dinner at the restaurant. Comfortable temperature in the rooms. We would stay again!

Great location. Great sauna. Great staff. A couple of spots in the hotel had a terrible sewer smell as you walked by. The breakfast was good, not great. Compared to other hotels we stayed at in Finland the selection was good but the quality was average. All in all, Jakobstad is a great place to visit and we would definitely stay there again!

Hotellilla on upea ja arvokas historia, mutta se kaipaisi jo perusteellista remonttia. Huoneessa oli saapuessamme tunkkainen haju (mahdollisesti hometta), mutta onneksi ikkunan sai auki ja raitista ilmaa virtasi sisään koko yön ajan. Huone oli pintapuolisesti siisti, vaikka pinnat olivat selvästi kuluneet. Wc:ssä pesualtaan vesilukko veti huonosti, suihkun lattia oli likainen ja suihkupidike oli melkein irti. Myös käytävillä oli tunkkainen haju, ja kokolattiamatot olisivat kaivanneet perusteellista pesua jo aikaa sitten. Aamiainen oli tavanomainen suomalainen hotelliaamiainen – riittävä, muttei erityisen mieleenpainuva.

Kysyin respassa onko hotelli rauhallinen, koska haluamme nukkua. Niin meille luvattiin. Kuitenkin klo 23 alkoi orkesteri soittaa ja vaikka olimme ylimmässä kerroksessa, basson jyminä kulki seiniä pitkin huoneeseemme. Yhden aikaan musiikki loppui ja pystyin nukahtamaan. Puoli kolmen aikaan käytävään saapui iloinen seurue keskustelemaan illan tapahtumista. En voi suositella hotellia viikonloppuisin, jos on tarkoitus nukkua hyvin.

Ett lugnt rum, mitt i centrala Jakobstad

Vi övernattade då Tomas Ledin hade konsert i Jakobstad. Efterfesten hölls på en av hotellets krogar. VI bad om att få ett möjligast lugnt rum, då vi ville sova, inte festa. Vi fick ett rum som var riktigt tyst. Vi var mycket nöjda över detta! Och rummet i övrigt var trevligt och badrummet litet men helt funktionellt.
