HOT AC Great Manager in Duty

great fast response from manager in duty,appreciated.. we got HOT AC for hours, they given us new room.. which is better.. even we found small cocroach in bathroom.. connecting door they forgot to open in first room and take sometime to open,, lil drama.. cold breakfast , ...our first and last stay at grand tjokro.. need improvement of outdated rooms.. we booked 2 rooms

Hôtel dans un état lamentable.

L'état général de l'hôtel est désastreux: piscine avec eau verte et en maintenance, tous les appareils de la salle de gym sont cassés et en piteux état, la clim ne fonctionne pas dans les parties communes, le petit-déjeuner est tous les jours le même, la moquette de la chambre était sale et la chambre vieillissante, rien à voir avec les photos. L'hôtel est aussi loin de tout, et certainement pas digne d'un 4 étoiles, en particulier pour des stadards indonésiens. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel. Cette réservation a été faite en remplacement d'un hôtel que j'avais réservé et qui n'était pas disponible à mon arrivée, et je ne suis absolument pas satisfait de ce remplacement, cet établissement ne devrait même pas être proposé par Hotels.com

The hotel staff were friendly and courteous, and the food was tasty! Thank you so much to the Grand Tjokro staff for their warm and kind hospitality. The hotel is nicely located to the Ciputra Mall and to other places of meet.

We ask for extra pillow as each bed was provided with one pillow. They want to charge us for each extra pillow. The foods during breakfast were cold. At night when we go to the hotel for dinner, there was lots of mosquitos in the dinning hall. When we complained to the staff, they just simply smile. They don’t sell beer. When I ask can we bring a can of beer from our room down to drink with our meal, they want to charge for the beer consumed. Very disappointed.

Close to the famous Ah Chai store.

Friendly staff but the breakfast is far below average. The hotel is far too calculative. We stayed in a twin bedroom. Ask the staff to give us 2 extra pillows as each bed is furnished with one pillow, we were refused. They were only prepared to give 1 extra pillow free. We would have to pay for the second extra pillow.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in ! Bad choice!

Dirty room, carpet never vacuumed in 5 days , white towels were grey , shower screen, curtain and fixings not clean, Pool in maintenance closed. No Bar so no alcohol at all , bar fridge in room with nothing in it . Breakfast food was the same items for days not fresh ! Web site false!

I travelled to Jakarta on business and was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Extremely comfortable rooms and fast internet connection. Breakfast selection was plentiful and the location was great as it is 150 metres from the lobby to the supermarket.

excellent service for mid range hotel in Jakarta

mid-range hotel with excellent service it bit hard to find now in Jakarta, but not in this hotel. Starting from the security in the entrance all greeting politely, seems you were in Jogja / Bali, not Jakarta. Good option for short trip in West Jakarta, also quite near from airport (highway gate just 5 mins from the hotel). Just need to avoid bad traffic in front of hotel during rush hour :)

Good hotel, bad local area.

The hotel and the staff are very nice. The local area is not nice at all though. If you want to exit the hotel and walk somewhere, there are no paths and it's not safe to walk especially at night.
