"Owner was actively engaging with customers.
My room was tiny, seems clean except for around the windows.
I paid for the breakfast, it was small and had less options than you would get at a free breakfast in north America, nothing warm except for hard boiled eggs. Would not buy it again if I ever return."

"If you have a family and you love German wine, I want to recommend this accommodation.
It is located on top of hills, you can enjoy nice view with Rhien-river.
I requested to take a dinner and breakfast, these were perfect and they provided warm hospitality.
They have own winery, the guest can enjoy good quality wine in there.

"This was an unusual hotel. First, it was located in an industrial area, away from convenient access to the town. Second, our stay was over a weekend when absolutely no one was there at the desk for the entire time. Poor people from Switzerland were confused as there was no one to check them out, so they had to just leave. We had no on-site restaurant for the weekend, and saw no one until Monday morning. "Up in the mountainside surrounded by forest lays this beautiful monastery. We visit the monastery, tried the local wine and had dinner at the restaurant. It had a great view and it was silent and nice. Our room was clean and nice and the beds comfortable. We definitely want to come back again!"

That was not that convenient, however both windows could be opened full! "The property is very nice. The breakfast included was wonderful. The town of Keidrich is about 5 minutes away and has so many wonderful restaurants. My only complaint would be the view. When we booked, the room says valley view but since our room was on a lower level it actually overlooks the driveway and the parking lot. All night long, you can hear cars driving up. I think if we had a higher level room it would have been more enjoyable. "

"Great trip to Rudesheim and very pleasant stay at Traube Hotel for 2 nights including breakfast. Comfortable room with all necessary facilities including kettle for making cups of tea. Good communication with staff who are very helpful. Excellent breakfast and good local restaurants.

"My wife and I are from the US and wanted to visit Rüdesheim. We called the hotel the day before our arrival to confirm our reservation and talked to the Sweetest lady. She provided great information and told us we were all set. We arrived by train and were allowed to check in early. The check in process was easy, loads of helpful information was provided. They gave us a beautiful room on the German first floor (2nd floor) with an amazing view of the Rhine River. The room was so spacious and clean. The bathroom was a little small but had everything we needed. Other reviews mentioned the noise but we didn’t notice anything to complain about. We are staying in Germany for another five weeks and my wife is begging me to take her back to the Krone hotel for another three night visit. We highly recommend this hotel for location, breakfasts, cleanliness, friendly staff, wonderful rooms but most importantly the value. "
