"We recently (Feb, 2026) had an enjoyable trip to Murshidabad and a very pleasant couple of days’ stay at hotel Lake Palace. Operating just over a year, the hotel is in nice condition and good value for the price. The food at the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious and we had a wonderful dining experience during our stay. The particular aspect of the hotel that stood out for us was the exceptional, personalised, warm service extended by the staff all along during our stay. All staff that we met/ interacted with — be it the security person at the gate, staff at front desk/ driver/ housekeeping/ restaurant — everybody was rather polite, always helpful and ready to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable.
