Property description and pictures were accurate. We liked that the 2nd bedroom had 2 twin beds for our kids. Only complaints were that the remote in the master bedroom didn't work, but we were able to download an app for that, and that the owner wasn't quick with responses, but that wasn't terrible either. Wouldn't hesitate to use this place again.

Comfortable Getaway

The location was in a great spot and close to Camp Lejeune, which was really convenient for my Marine. It’s small but perfect for a small family or couple to stay in. The location was perfect for easy access to the Marine base! This was extremely important to us as we were there to pick up our Marine son after an 8.5-month deployment! The home was quaint and perfect for our purposes. We would stay here again, if needed in the future.

What an absolute charming home! We had locals who visited us who all commented how nice it was. If we are ever that way again, I certainly hope it’s available. We had an awesome stay in this cute, clean and quiet location. Great location to see our Marine. Extremly close to several base gates, and a grocery store. Fit four adults very comfortably. Extremely clean. Beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be back if we visit our son again. Highly recommended for any Jacksonville area stays. So much better than a hotel. Never had a problem with communication from our awesome host. This was our first Vrbo experience so much better than Vrbo's competitor that starts with "A".

My wife, dog, and I stayed 2 nights when we went to Jacksonville to visit our daughter and son-in-law. The house is centrally located to get to town or base. It's large enough and the fenced backyard is good sized too. The kitchen was well stocked as well. The host was very communicative. We saw a couple of the small bugs that were mentioned in other reviews. But my daughter says there's no avoiding them in that area. We fully intend to book here again the next time we visit the area.

Visiting a friend

My lady, myself, and our dog visited this property for a week to see and old friend of mine from the Marine Corps. We are overjoyed with our stay experience. We highly highly recommend and would stay again. Quiet neighborhood and the home is in the cul de sac. The back patio has a new fence and a substantial yard our pup loved and the trees behind the fence were perfect for morning coffee. The location is very convenient, close to anything you would want to do in Jacksonville, base, Cedar Point, etc. The host communicates great even though I had issues with responding on my app (nothing to do with properly) she still maintained communications about important things and checkout. We also thought the price was great for everything, comfy bed too

House hunting

Our grandson is being transferred to Jacksonville. We wanted to make an advance trip with him to find a home to buy. This home had easy access for that purpose. Food Lion was close by for any groceries we needed. The kitchen was nicely supplied with all we needed for our cooking needs. It was nice to have a washer and drier for convenience of washing clothes while cooking dinner and reviewing the houses we saw that day. Hangers in each closet was a bonus that was greatly appreciated. Having the option of having the 2 twin beds made into a king was great for our 6’6” grandson.
