Amazing vacation
Absolutely perfect vacation rental for couples. The attention to detail was amazing. Great location. The back yard and sunsets in the evening were perfect. Alexis and Mike were good people and i wish we had more time to visit with them. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Very lovely stay in an enchanted setting.
Enjoyed our time in this lovely little cottage. Everything was clean, comfortable, and pretty. Also, it was great to meet our hosts! They were very attentive.

Anniversary getaway
Needs to be sprayed for insects. Found several bugs inside while there. Needs some type of curtain on front window for privacy. Other than that, great little place to get away from the outside world and relax

We would have promptly responded and been more than happy to help. We use a professional pest control service that routinely inspects and treats the home as a precautionary measure. We will follow up with our pest control service for further investigation. - We take our listing accuracy seriously and use professional photography for the home, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised, which includes a photo of the front window with the wooden shutter on the lower portion of the window for privacy, but we're sorry if this had a negative impact on your stay. Quiet get away
Good clean lodging. Great place for a quiet weekend with the spouse. Wanted to give 5 stars, but had to knock off one due to being unable to connect to the wifi. The router is in another residence and the signal was too weak to connect. Host tried to fix the issue and contacted Comcast to reset the router, but unfortunately that did not help. As stated by another reviewer, I would also recommend that a curtain be placed over the large front window for privacy.

A little slice of paradise
The quirky Nantucket cottage is as described in the listing. Although not far from the main thoroughfare, it feels really secluded. Nestled in the woods surrounded by nature with a fabulous outlook over the river from the dock. Lots of wading birds, dolphins, and even a little shark. Would highly recommend this property and Alexis is a delight - very welcoming. If we’re ever back in north east again this will be top of our list.

Peaceful and relaxing
Nantucket Cottage and the property were a delightful retreat. Beautiful and quiet location on the marsh of Lanceford Creek, but close to everything we needed. The dock was a perfect way to begin and end each day. We hope to return!

The property was in a nice location with great views of the sunset over the water. It was nice and quiet with plenty of trees to make you feel secluded, but we enjoyed the short drive into town to visit the shops and restaurants of the historic district. The cottage itself was very clean and had everything we needed.

Quiet clean and true cottage charming. It was delightful to sleep with the windows open and hear the birds. The parking was spacious and the location easy to find, but feeling back water marshy. Would loved to have fished.

Location, Location, Location
Private, warmly furnished cottage at the end of a quiet lane (no thru traffic). Feed the gulls from the dock at sunset ... yet minutes away from the beach, eclectic dining, shops and history of Fernandina Beach and Amelia. Ideal location for playing the best island and off-island golf courses. Not to mention the host/owner is the best, on top of every detail to assure a pleasant, comfortable stay.

Beautiful cottage
The is property is tucked away on a secluded street but just a few miles from Amelia Island and all the fun. The cottage is super clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The cottage is super close to the dock with beautiful sunsets. The host was welcoming and made sure we had what we needed for the week.

Very nice place to relax and yet do lots of fun short trip adventures!
Great location! Clean. Only complaint would be the smell of must. Very musty smelling but I’m sure it’s hard to control in the environment. Maybe a dehumidifier would help.

Quaint Cottage in the woods
Husband and I stayed in the Nantucket cottage for our anniversary. Very quaint and privately located with access to a shared boat dock and Communal fire pit. Property manager left us bread for the birds and cookies for us. Definitely recommend.

Quaint Cottage Nestled in Nature
Wonderful 4 day getaway from check-in to check-out! A very hospitable host and the quaint Nantucket Cottage amongst large oaks along a marshy coastline allowed us to enjoy easy and close trips to State parks and beaches by day and relax by the fire pit and dock at night! The natural beauty of the area and accommodations gave us the relaxing getaway we were hoping for and would definitely book again!

We decided to stay here for a little weekend getaway. This place was a perfect spot to relax at after a day of fun. The dock was awesome, really loved the driveway into the property. Quiet and beautiful
What a beautiful spot Alexis has waiting for you in this quiet quaint neighborhood. Very comfy cottage with everything you would need for a sweet get-a-way. Sunsets at dock’s edge are true Florida, and she is quite generous with your ability to use the public spaces. We were there for only 2 nights so couldn’t this time, but the fire pit and deck chairs are inviting. She is a gracious host and the town of historic Fernandina is not far from the cottage and quite charming.

The property was well maintained and everything was in order. Had a slight issue with the toilet that was immediately taken care of. The property was close to shopping and restaurants but was away from car noise and light pollution. It is located in a neighborhood with lovely houses, beautiful live oaks, and right on the water. Restful spot!

Being so close to the river was incredible! The dock, fire pit, friendliness of owner made it fantastic! Wish we could have covered the front windows entirely, but otherwise, it was great! Oh, and only 1 cereal bowl...

Beautiful location with short distance from Jacksonville airport
The location was great. It was a short trip from the Jacksonville airport. Just a short trip to Fernandino Beach on Amelia Island. The property where we stayed was beautiful. Our place was very clean and tastefully decorated. I would definitely recommend to others.

Quiet and restful. And, yes, COZY! Enjoyed sitting on the dock watching the wildlife and reading. Will go back the next time we are in the area. Will recommend it to family, friends and strangers. The owner delivered as advertised.

A Birthday Weekend Getaway
This was the perfect little cabin for a birthday get away for my husband's birthday. We were within driving distance to Amelia Island but secluded at the same time. We had a picnic on the dock and enjoyed all of the plants on the property.

We had the most wonderful stay. The owner did everything to ensure we was welcomed. The property was so peaceful, we loved the dock especially during the sunsets. We will definitely stay again and will be telling all of our friends and family about our stay here!
