A small home with a big personality! Only a 15min from Jacksonville and 40min from Tyler; a great place to be out in the country and enjoy the quiet. In exploring the area, you'll find a drive-thru safari, Love's Lookout, the Texas State Railroad (Polar Express), River Run ATV park, the Neches River Wildlife Refuge, I.D. Fairchild State Forest, Lake Jacksonville, restaurants and more!

Quiet Country Stay

We enjoyed spending our vacation here and were able to cook our entire Thanksgiving meal at the house. It was a quiet location that was still close enough to stores to be convenient. We would stay here again.

Girl Trip

We came for a concert in the area and this was a perfect spot for us. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the place was nice.The beds are VERY comfortable!!!

Great farm house

If you have a draw hunt at the Neches Nature Preserve, this is a great place to stay at. Has all the amenities you need and close to all the units run by the forest Service. Host is great at staying on top of communication and helps with whatever you need.

Perfect for a small family needing a place to stay.

We were in town to visit friends and this was the perfect place to stay without the hassle of a hotel. Cute, all the basics, and nice to be in the woods instead of having to be in town. We were able to grill and they were delicious! Cute friendly dog was a plus for my 9 and 4 year old!

Christmas @ the Tiny House 2024

We enjoyed our stay here so much!! Sitting outside, secluded in the woods, listening to the birds and wonderful rain was amazing! We also very much enjoyed the firepit and outdoor grill! This host provides everything you need and more! We will definitely be back!!

We absolutely loved being able to stay here so that we could go to The Polar Express. It was very clean and accommodating. My child especially loved the bunk bed situation and now wants one for his room, haha. Thank you for being such a wonderful hosts!

Comfortable and Quiet!

Nice house with more space than I expected. Very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The decor is cute, and there’s lots of natural light. Happy to have the covered parking, although we didn’t need it on this trip because the weather was lovely. We would stay here again.

Great place in the country

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us, as it was centrally located to all of our destinations. The small, enclosed back yard was very convenient, as was the bench on the front porch. We had all the kitchen ammenities we needed to cook breakfast, including all the cleaning supplies to clean up after. Somehow, watermelon kept showing up on our doorstep, so that was cool.

Perfect size for a small family. Very clean and cozy. The only thing that would have made it better is a bed that folds out from the couch. If your 5th occupant is a small child, the couch works out fine. If you do not have a small child it might not work for you.

Just. A couple of suggestions: some kind of cloths rack in the bedroom and also add a small table to hold your suitcase. Loved the place!
