This property is such a wonderful alternative to the usual chain facilities. It's right on the river and set on a nicely landscaped property. We didn't opt for a room with a river view, but there were plenty of public spaces to enjoy the view. We loved the library. It was very quiet when we were there - few guests, between weddings. The breakfast is at the sister facility a short walk down the street. We found a charming coffee shop nearby as well, Urban Bean. The big oak trees and blooming azaleas were really charming. We enjoyed our stay very much and would choose this or the sister property (where we had breakfast) for a future stay.

I absolutely love the Manor. Just a beautiful property and lovely people. The bed was amazing. The room has a refrig, a Kuerig, a microwave but no hair dryer. I also loved that there is a suitcase stand and a beautiful full length mirror. I hope I dont get in trouble for this. I could help myself. There was the most amazing orange growing on a tre just outside my bathroom window. I picked and ate it. Cant say ive ever picked fruit from a tree like that. It was a little over ripe but still tasty. The river is gorgeous too. I would have loved it if they had some benches down at the river bank area. Just to say, we were not there to watch TV but they could upgrade the TV. Overall 5 stars. Cheers Christie

Great for wedding venues. Maybe not solo travelers

We enjoyed the stay. We really had the whole property to ourselves. Bed and Breakfast style wedding venue but we stayed don’t be close proximity to the water. I didn’t mind being the only people there. I’ve never experienced that before. There was staff who were very sweet and I’m sorry to not have experienced the breakfast. It is an older place nestled in a weeping wallow trees. I can only image what it looks like during the spring. It has an old smell but again it’s so close to the water that is expected. The room was okay. I think some nice updates would be a game changer. It’s outdated. The bed was broken. Once you lay into it your head is low and your feet are high. We laughed about that but it left me with a very hurt back. I had to lay on the end of the bed to make it level. Outside of that. Staff made it easy to access. Beautiful ocean views. Just needs some updating and new beds for sure.

We booked a quiet midweek respite at Azaleana Manor in the large suite. It was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed breakfast in the house's library with a wonderful view of St John's river. The staff are lovely and the owner very friendly without being intrusive. We would stay again.

walls are a little thin but other than that we enjoyed our stay. didn't see anyone on site but we came and left at odd hours. room was clean and comfortable. beautiful venue for an event or wedding.

The pictures are spot on! Amazing staff, friendly people, clean facility, gorgeous property, comfortable room! Everything I needed and more! Plus ONE BLOCK WALK to Moosehaven, store, starbucks, and good food!

The first night there our room had broken air conditioning, they moved us to another room where the AC worked but we had no hot water in that room. They fixed the hot water problem by our second day there.

Beautiful natural surrounding and manor.

Beautiful location, very quiet and natural surroundings. This isn't a negative comment but nobody was on site most of the day and never at night. The mattress was very mushy and uncomfortable, that definitely needs to be replaced. Other than that we loved it and would recommend it to family and friends.

No one, no one at the property Unsecured, empty, and not answering phone. Had to find another stay at 7pm in an unfamiliar location. Very stressful for a 67 y.o. woman traveling alone. Should not be an Hotels.com property. They helped get my money back!

We showed up at this property to check-in and no one was there. We tried to get a refund. We paid for trip insurance. The trip insurance was also not honored for not staying in this location. We ended up staying in another hotel. We called a left a message, the manor (not a hotel) did not bother to return the call. We have called again and we have yet to hear from the manor. This was the worst customer service support I've experienced in my travels.

Unit not cleaned. We found full bathroom trash can, hair on bathroom floor, and items from pervious guests UNDER THE RUGS! When we complained we were told it is the holiday and people are in a rush No one was sent to rectify the situation. Very disappointing as the setting was beautiful.

Azaela Manor

Stunning property right on The St. John's River. incredible room and more incredible views. Very peaceful and quiet. The owner is very involved in her business and it shows. I would recommend calling her directly to ask questions. She is lovely and a wealth of knowledge.

Great for a get away! Very Quiet!

Highly recommended- you are greated and shown to your room, then given a tour of the facilities. Breakfast is cooked for you at your own set time- which was very good!

This place is so beautiful! It’s right on the water with a beautiful view. We were lucky that it wasn’t busy and we pretty much had the mansion all to ourselves. It was very quiet because there weren’t any weddings scheduled. The owner is so sweet!
