Beautiful Stay Close to Tetons and Jackson
Richard, our host, is very friendly and welcoming. Property was clean and comfortable. Location is very close to the city of Jackson and for exploring Grand Teton National Park. Would stay again.

Peaceful retreat south of Jackson
Richard was an excellent and generous host. The apartment living area was open, light, comfortable, and quiet. The fully equipped kitchen facilitated cooking meals. We spent two weeks here and were very pleased with this space as our temporary home. (On-site washer and dryer were very convenient.) While we were visiting Jackson to assist our family with a major project, we did not have time to take advantage of the myriad things to do in and around Teton Valley and Grand Teton National Park; but Richard has a wonderful collection of materials on site to make guests aware of area opportunities. I did some baking projects with my grandchildren, and some after-school reading and craft projects. Both my husband and I loved the peace and natural pace of this relatively secluded space, far from the madding crowds. We would happily return when we again need a place to stay during future family visits.

Comfortable stay
Our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. Richard shared his knowlege of the area, which was very helpful. Everything in the cabin worked and was clean. Quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!

A Great Jackson Experience
Richard was an amazing host! He left us some goodies in the fridge and gave us great recommendations on places to go! The basement apartment was clean and had everything we needed, perfect for us! The property is out of town and peacefully quiet but a quick 10 min drive to town! I would highly recommend this for a great romantic getaway!

Grand Teton Trip
This property was a perfect find located away from the crowds in Jackson. It was extremely easy to get the national park. Richard had left some supplies for us which was welcomed after a long travel day.

Our week
Richard's place is a quiet, rustic spot about 10 minutes from Jackson- but away from the crowds! Richard allowed us to move in early and left a care package of thoughtful items which were very much appreciated! He had good suggestions of places to go and places to eat. Overall, we were happy with our stay!

Super location!!!
Great location about 10 min. from Jackson! Richard goes out if he way to make sure you enjoy your stay. Let us check in 3 hours early! Offered a late check out due to later flight. This sure beats slamming doors in a hotel!!! Quiet location. Great kitchen set up! Comfortable bed. Richard thinks of everything and a great source of information for the area. Cozy, clean, and comfortable
This is a lovely place just far enough out of town without being an inconvenience. Property owner was super gracious and responsive to any requests. Had some good recommendations for food and sightseeing. Nice welcome provisions in the fridge and well equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer in the unit was helpful. Note: the owner lives upstairs but we never saw him or even knew he was there. You won’t either. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location away from downtown Jackson Hole but close enough to everything.
The drive to and from was gorgeous. Richard was a great host and left several items for us in case we were too tired to go out to eat or go to store. Place was clean & perfect size for my husband & me. The Bird restaurant is close by & wonderful burgers. Breakfast at Virginian was always good. Tetons were beautiful as always.

September Tetons trip
Overall, very happy with our stay. Richard was there when we arrived, although we did not know he stayed in the main house above the rental unit....This was NO problem for us though! As a suggestion, as we had a pet with us, we needed to be out at night with him, and there was no outside light. Perhaps either installing some outdoor lighting, or providing a flashlight would be recommended.(We had brought our own flashlight) Richard provided us with many nice welcoming gifts, and really enjoyed his thoughtfullness!

Excellent way to explore Jackson Hole
Richard and the property were wonderful! 15 minute drive into Jackson Hole without the Jackson Hole prices. Plus we got way more staying here than we would have at a hotel in Jackson Hole. Having a kitchen, grill, and yard made eating in easy. Richard greeted us with a tour and welcome gifts. Would happily stay again.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat
This one bedroom cabin is outside of Jackson in the hills above Snake River with hiking trails nearby, quick trip to Jackson for restaurants and shopping. Generous and gracious host.

Great location to Jackson Hole
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was a great location close to Jackson but away from the hustle and bustle. Nothing fancy, but great communication with the host. Saw a few mice inside while we were staying there but clean otherwise.

Wonderful Stay

Clean, simple housing that is about 25-30 minutes from Jenny Lake, Cascade Canyon, String Lake trail heads with GTNP. 8-ish minutes to Jackson Hole. Made for a fantastic hiking home-base.

The host of this property is amazing. The property was ready ahead of the scheduled arrival time. Once we arrived we found several unexpected fun surprises waiting for us! We love this place!
I cannot say enough great things about our stay here! Richard was an incredible and generous host who made us feel right at home! The property was the perfect size for me, my boyfriend and our dog including a large yard for her to play in. We enjoyed the location, scenery and feeling of seclusion being tucked into the mountains but close enough to the city of Jackson. There is a hiking trail down the road with gorgeous views. I highly recommend this place!

Great stay just outside of town!
Richard’s place was clean and comfortable upon arrival. Good internet to work remote from and a great lawn for our dog to run around in! 15 minutes from the town of Jackson so super convenient. The pillows are a little flat but we still slept comfortably - overall recommend staying here!

Wonderful space in beautiful, quiet and safe location
Super comfortable, well-appointed and clean space in a beautiful and quiet location. As a solo traveler I felt safe here. Tons of thoughtful amenities, including a great library with regional titles and travel guides. Close, easy drive into town and convenient to use as home base for day trips to Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Gros Ventre. Hoback Junction Market, with everything you need is just down the road. I enjoyed listening to the relaxing sound of the creek across the road and being able to take a pleasant walk right out the front door. Richard is a gracious host. We enjoyed out stay near Jackson. Richard was very accommodating. We appreciated the provisions to start our week. The location is nice. Near to the Tetons and Jackson but away from the crowds. The kitchen and laundry worked well. The bed is very firm. We ended up sleeping on the futon.

Better than downtown Jackson
If you want less noise, traffic, and expense, this us a good location. If you need a good base of operation to see the surrounding area, this is it. If you want a "landloard" that is knowledgeable and interesting, Richard is your man. He provides you not only with good hospitality but throws in some vital supplies for your stay. The location is relatively quiet and close to all attractions.

A Beautiful Retreat
A friend and I stayed here and loved it! It's a beautiful spot close to Grand Teton and Yellowstone NPs. The property is well kept and quiet. A perfect spot to relax after touring the parks and spending time in Jackson. Richard is a wonderful host who answered all our questions and even provided us with some treats. I highly recommend staying here when you're in the Jackson, WY area.

The perfect place to stay!
This place was perfect for what we needed during our “work from home” stay in Jackson. Richard is a great guy and was super helpful with everything. He went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of and we’re enjoying our stay. The cabin had everything we could’ve needed and is located just a short drive from downtown Jackson and GTNP. Also the wifi worked great which allowed us to “work from home” somewhere a lot cooler than our actual house.

Quiet solitude with a babbling brook right outside your door!
Richard's place was the perfect getaway for our Grand Teton leg of our journey! Very comfortable beds, bathroom(with really nice toiletries), full kitchen and a washer and dryer(Which was very handy and not often provided, and Richard provides the soad as well!). Richard also surprised us with some goodies in the pantry and fridge which meant we didn't need to go shopping after arriving our first night. We had a great time in the Jackson area, there is so much to see and do. Grand Teton National Park is about 30 min drive and Yellowstone is another 45 mins to an hour up the road after that. Plus a lot of great rivers for fishing and we saw and photographed lots of wildlife including Bears, Moose, Elk, Pronghorn and Bison just to name a few. Richards place was just south of town about 10 mins in a small ravine with the Porcupine creek running just on the other side of the road from your door. Now don't be alarmed that you are next to the road as it is just the occasional neighbor from up the street that passes by very slowly(due to the 15 mph speed limit). It is a very quiet road and you can hear the creek through the open windows, very peaceful!! Richard was a very gracious host and provided recommendations for restaurants, grocery stores, and where to find the wild life. We would definitely stay at Richards place again when in Jackson!

Stayed 5 nights at Richard's property. Only one issue that was quickly rectified by Richard. Close to the town of Jackson, Hoback jct, and Teton National Park. Good recommendations by Richard on places to eat especially Nora's in Wilson for a breakfast of the best Huevos Rancheros. On arrival we found that Richard had left a care package of some essential food items which was very much appreciated after a day of travel. Great stay. Thanks Richard
