"Avoid going during the wedding season when guests come in dozens and you become a part of a loud Indian wedding whether you like it or not. The employees are much much better at service than their big metro counterparts. They treat you as if you are staying in their homes. Particularly at the breakfast buffet. "

"We had a good stay at this hotel. Staff were courteous & help full. Food was good for us.Comfortable rooms with TV. Rooms cuts of the outside noise, even though it is situated on the main road, near Railway station. They have a security guard who is an artist with special skills for stencil cutting on X-ray film. should be encouraged by hotel guests."

"The only thing in this hotel which is good is thier Staff. Rest all is surely not worth the money. Rooms were not clean, Roaches all over the room, No water bottles placed even if you call and ask for water will take atleast 30 mins. Location is was ok ok. "I just had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Vijan Palace in Jabalpur, April 9 - April 10 - and my experience totally exceeded my expectations. As soon as I walked in the door, the staff showed me professionalism, respect, and hospitality that made me feel comfortable and welcomed - honestly (I felt at home). "I would have rated OK (average) ie you get what you pay for. Facilities, convenience, hotel staff etc is good. My reasons for disappointment : a) I had to change rooms twice in 4 days - plumbing and other issues b) Cleanliness/hygiene an issue - saw a rat in their restaurant c) Took 30 mins to check out because room was booked through expedia - I could have missed my flight !"

"Good short stay for 3 days. Very centrally located hotel, close to all amenities. Polite, friendly and professional staff. Clean rooms and corridors. Good breakfast which I paid for separately. Overall very good hotel to stay for short work stay in the heart of town. Good restaurants within walking distance from hotel. Bit noisy in the front rooms due to main road. Manager Gladwyn was very helpful and so were other staff."
