"We stayed for 13 nights in August. Great location to get away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely and peaceful by the pool with great views. With Olive Trees as far as the eye could see. Well equipped villa with everything you need for your stay. Well stocked kitchen with lovely touches such as espresso pots and orange juicer. "We had a lovely stay at the farmhouse, which was well-equipped, clean, spacious and homely. The terrace had fantastic views over the lake, and the kids really enjoyed the pool. The rural location was peaceful, and the coast and cities such as Granada and Seville were all accessible by car. We were particularly grateful for the warm welcome given by Karen and Paul who look after the property and were very friendly and helpful."

"Set in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake. The village is about 2-3 miles away but don't take the car. The roads just get narrower and narrower and are extremely steep. The hotel has no lift but we were given a room on the ground floor as my husband has problems with stairs. The downside of this was that we were awoken by a table top sale being set up right outside our window by some very noisy Brits. I am surprised that the hotel allowed this immediately outside bedroom windows. Beware...

"The property is absolutely beautiful and is located in a very, very small town outside the very small town of Iznájar. The countryside is beautiful, rolling hills covered with olive groves. The patios and pool area are gorgeous. It’s a good choice if you have a car. I think it would be tricky if you’re relying on a train or bus system to get places. We had a car and found this to be a good central location for exploring Andalucía. We were able to get to Granada, Córdoba, and Málaga in under two...

"Property was just as described and host was responsive and very helpful. Wonderfully private setting with out of this world views, yet short drive to villages of Iznajar and Rute. Pool was great and layout of the house worked very well for our family. Host (Jim) even helped us jump start our car battery which had died! We would highly recommend this beautiful getaway spot."

"Well were to start! Firstly Lisa and Nigel are THE MOST helpful hosts we have EVER had the pleasure to meet whilst on holiday in a villa! Nothing was ever to much trouble.
