DON'T GO TO THIS RESORT!!!!!! the hotels cleanliness was terrible. Everyone in my family got a food born illness during our stay except for my husband. My six year old was vomiting uncontrollably on our second night from the reservation Italian restaurant. He was so ill that he wasn't better for the rest of the trip. I started to notice at the swim up bar and the snacks stand that the servers were washing the dishes by hand rather than using a dishwasher. This is clearly why we got sick. In the morning all the items were fresh and hot from the dishwasher but clearly the staff were far too lazy and would rather wash the items by hand than trolly them back into the restaurants. They were not using the proper hand wash method with bleach either. My kids ended up contracting Hand Foot and Mouth disease from the kids pool. The children's pool area looked clean upon first inspection but after my daughter mentioned green slime that she slipped on, up near the slide I had a further investigation. Turns out children aren't as important as adults at this resort. All it would have taken was one pool guy to notice and clean but there was green slime all over the landing of one of the slides, which meant the area wasn't being cleaned properly. I'm sure this is where he contracted Hand Foot and Mouth as it is very contagious. We have been home for three days and been to Emergency back here in Canada and it is confirmed HMFD. Now my daughter also has contracted HFMD.

This hotel has a lot of fun activities and the staff is very friendly. At checking I was not provided with the rollaway that my reservation included because of possible floor damage to the recently remodeled bedrooms’ floors. This was our second time at this location. First time was great we went with a family member who had. A Clue Membership” which by the way if you have it they treat you amazing! We didn’t have the membership FYI. This time We had a horrible experience. First day we didn’t get our rooms until 6pm check in was at 3 ( side note I paid for 3 rooms I have a party of 7) we walk into room number one there was a maintenance guys fixing a leak. We have to go back down to reception they say”we are almost done” ok. We started our first day at 7:00pm wasted our time. Day 2 we had an amazing time but not at the hotel. We get back to the hotel at about 5 there were puddles of water everywhere in one of our rooms. My families clean clothes was all wet. Water made its way to the closet. We call down to reception they sent someone to “fix it” again we had to share a room while they “fix it.” I asked for a new room they said, no! But they did wash the wet clothes. Day 3 again some issues. I wasted time arguing until they finally gave us a new room. Everyday we had the same issue with the same room. It was always was getting fixed. I just wanted a new room From the beginning and to enjoy my vacation. Manager did send an apology letter as well as a bottle of wine with some fruit, but honestly they should have given us another room.
