Great property with lots of damages

Second time staying here

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had stayed at this exact home the year prior and loved it. This time was unfortunately not as great as the first. There were a lot of things broken (fridge drawers, arcade games entire theatre wasn’t able to be used etc) when I saw reviews for months prior to our stay I reached out to the property managers to see if these things were still broken (I assumed they’d be fixed because reviews were from 4+ months before our stay) they didn’t email me back so I ended up having to call them 2 days before arrival. They confirmed that those things were broken and offered a small refund. (10% of the cost, which didn’t seem like much) Overall it was a fun stay but I do feel like they put us between a rock and a hard place. They weren’t very responsive beforehand, once I brought it up they weren’t quick to get back to us until hours before check in. Bummer situation. We still enjoyed ourselves but it was annoying to pay for a place without the amenities that we paid for.

Beautiful home, lacking conveniences

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Getting into the home was a bit frustrating, as the code I was given did not work. Thankfully, it was as simple as a phone call to get a new code. The home is beautiful. It's a really good location with some conveniences just around the corner. The bed we used was comfortable. The binder with instructions and food suggestions is a nice touch. We didn't end up using the hot tub or pool, but we did go to the Kids Cove which was fun. We loved the theater and were able to figure it out fairly easily. For your attention: There is some dust on the wood part of the stairs. One of the arcade games isn't working. The UBVR wifi network did not show up on my phone. The Amazon Echo device in the kitchen was not connected to Wifi. Wifi was fairly spotty throughout the house. Some suggestions: A community map in the binder would have been appreciated as we had trouble finding the kids cove. Remote labels in the theater room would be helpful. At the price tag we paid, I think some basic conveniences are in order, like 2-ply toilet paper, but it's 1-ply in the bathrooms. Even basic things a hotel provides like some water bottles in the fridge, some coffee or hot chocolate packets, or some tissue boxes throughout the house would be appreciated. Just these small touches as a courtesy I think would be nice. This was a company trip, so I don't anticipate we'll have the luxury of a future stay here, but if I could afford it, I would be back!

Not Awesome

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After I spent $100 on fans to try to cool the upstairs after the first night, we found the thermostat on the second floor, and it had been set to 82 degrees while the downstairs one was set to 72. There were three arcade games that look great in the ads but only two worked, one with a totally melted plug and burned up wall socket. The pinball machine right flipper was broken. Two pool cues, one warped terribly. The outside pool cover broke the first time we tried to close it so it stayed open the entire five days. Only one side of the toaster worked, buttons pushed into the body of the toaster. All issues reported but never addressed. Promises only. Rugs,carpets, and floors were dirty. The bottoms of our feet were black the first evening. Had to wear socks inside the entire time. No sheets for the roll-away beds. Bought our own. Also, found rolls of carpet in the water heater closet. Seems like a fire hazard. All the non-stick pans were in terrible shape. Had to buy an electric skillet. We really enjoyed how big the place was, lots of suites to accommodate our married couples. The kids loved the pool on the patio. The hot tub was nice but lots of broken nozzles. Theatre room was great. Pool table needs leveling and new cues. But we enjoyed it anyway.

Fantastic stay!

We have stayed here two years in a row now and thoroughly enjoyed the property. We had all we needed the entire time. The theater room and arcade games were a great treat when weather moved in and stopped us from going out exploring.

Great place and accomodations.

We spent 4 days playing golf with a total of 8 golfers that could stay in 1 place. Rooms and house was very nice and accommodating. Would recommend this place to any large group needing to stay together. House is very close to many attractions as well as grocery store.
