"Probably the most beautiful beach I've been to in years! Not too safe for swimming because of the heavy surf, but the beach is gorgeous and literally a short walk from my room. Great, friendly staff and extra nice touch was the ability to convert my US cash to local currency. Definitely family friendly so if you don't mind a lot of kids, try booking in the off season or other than weekends. All the pictures on resort website were true to form. Spot on. I'm definitely coming back!"

"I got a great room with sea view. Room and bathroom are big. The view was breathtaking. And balcony with veranda was large. Breakfast is great and included. Rio vermilo is close by with bars and clubs close by. Casa Teresa is a restaurant close by to eat Bahian food. Everything is walkable. Go see lighthouse. Rooms can be upgraded with new fixtures and furniture. Overall very good hotel. Gym needs improvement. "

"Great hotel. Right at beach front and restaurants and shops and very safe. The room was clean and house keeping was very accessible and helpful. However you should really, really, really invest on purchasing mattress sheets with the elastic bands the grab the mattress. What is up with using regular sheets on the mattress?? Have of the time, after a few tosses and turns during the night, one ends up sleeping on the bare mattress. Thank goodness it was clean. Nevertheless, it was still gross. "
