"This was a surprise delight. My family stayed here on our journey between Basel and Munich and found the area lovely, with loads of scenic walks. The hotel is clean and the room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the village. The bed was on the firm side, but the room’s temperature was not too hot. "A lovely hotel in the forest. Large rooms for the price, very well cooked food in restaurant. Good breakfasting also. Scrambled eggs are good considering its a ban-marie. Coffe is good. Altogether a very pleasant stay and good for health freaks (I suppose but I am not one of them) clean gym, okay indoor pool and a sauna, which needs to pump up the heat to a hotter temp, but okay if you have time to sit in it and wait for your body to heat up. Nice staff."
