The hostel lies directly in front of the coast, great location. It was clean and comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped, only the walls were a bit thin but this didn't keep me from sleeping well. I would stay there again.

Great property overlooking the loch. Easy walk to the square. Facilities excellent and staff helpful. If you can’t walk too well a lot of steps but other than that a great hostel in a beautiful area. Co op in market square and coffee shops gift shop and fuel.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Broadford Youth Hostel. Showers and toilets were very clean, staff was super helpful. Towels were provided free of charge. Kitchen was fully equipped and common sitting area (lounge) was spacious. Parking was free on the premises, we didn’t have problem finding a parking place although we arrived around 10PM. However our room (triple with 1 bunk 1 single bed) was extremely small. We didn’t mind it as we only stayed for 1 night. Area around the hostel is a bit quiet, but the town centre and supermarket is within the walking distance.

This was my first time staying in a hostel. It was very well set up. Easy to check in. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the facility. Our room was a bit noisy due to being beside the bathroom but they have rules to keep things quiet during night time hours. We just needed an area to sleep so we did not make use of the other parts of the facility but it looked very well maintained and the shared kitchen area looked very well organized. There was a comfortable variety of ages and everyone was very respectful and quiet.

For a hostel, this place was very good. However, comparing it with other places we stayed on our trip, mostly Airbnb's, this place was expensive for what we got. No private bath, no breakfast included. Maybe the location on Skye made it more expensive. Still, it met our needs, and for a hostel, it was in great shape.

This hostel looks a bit old but there are all necessasry facilities. There are some prolems with Wifi coverage in the building. However, it is worth the money.

Keep your key on your body!

I had a private room with shared bath. There was a sink in the room and 2 sturdy chairs. The window opens for fresh air but no screen so be sure to shut it before dusk! Midges! Check in staff was very nice. The kitchen/food storage area was plenty big enough. There's a beautiful walking trail in front that goes along the beach to the co-op for good grocery shopping. There are a lot of stairs. Front desk hours are limited. The room door locks automatically so keep your key on you!

Building was lovely, with a great view of the bay at the front of the building. Would not recommend room no.2 to anyone due to constant noise of bathroom next door. This made sleep impossible. Very dissapointing stay considering the over inflated price of accomodation.
