“Ardmore” is a stunning luxury 3 bedroom (2 en suite) detached bungalow in a superb location and enjoys sea or mountain views from all rooms. It is finished, furnished and equipped to the highest standards and fully deserves its 5 star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board (their highest award). There are extensive private gardens to the rear with loads of parking for several cars Located in the village of Broadford, the second largest settlement on Skye, Ardmore is within easy walking distance of local restaurants, pubs, shops etc. Broadford is an ideal centre from which to tour all of Skye and Wester Ross.
Lounge - The lounge is spacious and from the bay window there are excellent views over the bay and Kinloch hills. It seats six people with ease and features a solid oak floor and a feature limestone fireplace. For entertainment there is a 47 inch television with Sky, a DVD player and a supply of DVDs and CDs.
Bedrooms 1 And 2 - Both these double bedrooms have spacious en suite facilities and enjoy panoramic views over Broadford Bay and the red Cuillins. Bedroom 1 has a king size four poster bed. Bedroom 2 has a king size sleigh bed. Both rooms are supplied with hairdryers and flat screen TVs.
Bedroom 3 - Bedroom 3 is a twin room with magnificent views of the Red Cuillins. A hairdrier and flat screen tv are provided.
Kitchen - The kitchen is fully equipped and fitted out with quality solid wood units. The appliances (cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher) are Neff and all are integrated. There is also a microwave oven and flat screen tv. A table and chairs are provided for those who wish to breakfast in the kitchen rather than in the formal dining room.
Dining Room - The dining room has French doors which open onto a large patio. A gas barbeque and garden furniture are provided for those who enjoy “the great outdoors”.
Utility Room - The utility room has a washing machine and tumble drier
Bathroom - The outstanding feature of the main bathroom is the roll top freestanding bath.

The beautifully appointed, spacious home with water views was the perfect base from which to explore the otherworldly beauty of Skye. I highly recommend this home to anyone considering a stay on Skye. It will not disappoint.
Ian's palce is truly spectacular. Everything anyone could ask for and a great base camp to explore Skye. The problem we had and this is certainly is not Ian's fault was Storm Amy hit on our second day and we lost power for a day and a half. We didn't see much of Skye but it added to the adventure. Couldn't think of a nicer place to ride out the storm. I've travelled quite a bit and I can say with confidence that this is the nicest place I've ever stayed.
Amazing location to explore Skye, and such a well positioned house within Broadford, and we’ll equipped house - and plenty of space so all holidaymakers can have their own time.
We are so thankful we booked this property. It was spacious, well appointed and better than the pictures. Sunrises and Sunsets were beautiful over the water and mountain. The views were fantastic and Ian was a delight to communicate with. Especially for food recommendations, which we appreciated. Broadford had everything we needed and was central to all our travels. We were able to walk to the end of the road for food and a very short walk to access to the beach to explore tide pools each night. We had a sunny week with no midges and would absolutely return.
We had a super stay at Ardmore cottage. The 3 bed property was much larger than expected, was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for self catering stay. Broadford is a great base for exploring Skye and Kyle of Lochalsh and we would happily stay at Ardmore again.

Great place to stay on Skye
The house is large, clean, and beautiful. Its well located on the Isle of Skye. Highly recommended.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ardmore ...it was perfect for entertaining family and accommodated our family perfectly! Scotland is amazing and Ian’s and Ardmore went a long way to make our trip a wonderful experience .

A ‘home from home’ on a wonderful island
We had a most wonderful week on on Isle of Skye, staying at Ardmore. Ardmore is a real ‘home from home’, furnished to a high standard and equipped with everything you could need. It is one of the nicest holiday homes we have stayed in and will definitely return when we visit Skye again.
We loved this property. It had everything you needed. It was comfortable and homely and the location was superb. The owner was very welcoming and very helpful. When I come back to Skye would definitely stay here.
Fantastic three day stay. Everything we needed and more. The rooms are extremely spacious and well equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean and easily accessible. Location is great. We managed to explore the island and found local eateries and shops to be very handy.

We so enjoyed our stay at Ardmore house. Ian is a delightful host and very responsive if needed. Ardmore is spacious, comfortable, warm in winter and equipped with everything you would need. The location is convenient for a base from which to explore Skye and the views from the house are most welcome.

Perfect home in Skye
This lovely and spacious home was the perfect place to spend a week exploring Skye.
We celebrated my dad's 83rd birthday here and couldn't have chosen a better place.
Ian and Anne were also gracious hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable.
Our family will have many fond memories of this gorgeous home and holiday
Pleasant surprise in the location of the property with panoramic views from all sides.
Lovely wee house, thoughtfully appointed,with all bases covered for the discerning traveller. We've stayed in worse 5* hotels.
Enough said.
A wonderful bungalow, clean, spacious with everything you need. Ian was wonderful to deal with. Ian thought of everything and even left us a wonderful welcome pack. We will definitely return.
Located in a quiet area in Broadford, yet very close to local restaurants and supermarkets, we found the cottage an excellent home base for our travels on Skye. Very friendly host, thanks again for the tip to visit Elgol! We spent a great day doing the boat trip to Loch Coruisk, even seeing seals and dolphins on the way.
The property was outstanding. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and homely. The beds were really comfortable. All the rooms were beautifully decorated. The owners obviously take a lot of pride in the property. I would love to return in the future.
