Enjoy the owners recent extensive renovations.This comfortable home will look like a Pinterest Board for a dream beach house you will remember . Freshly painted and updated throughout. Navy and white theme with designer bedding and furnishing from top designers like Cynthia Rowley and Serena and Lily are just the beginning.
Pelican Reach, with its own pool, is less than a five-minute walk to the water's edge. This neighborhood is known for it's nice quiet wide streets.

Built in the traditional beach style, a flight of stairs takes you to the lower-level porch. This is where the kids will go to escape the adults, who will surely have commandeered the upstairs porch. The front door opens to the lower-level bedrooms. The master has a King-size bed, with new mattress, designer bedding, a private bath, and opens to the shady screened rear porch (complete with several rocking chairs - perfect for a quiet get away) The other two downstairs rooms (one with a queen bed, the other with 2 twin beds) are also furnished with new mattresses and share a bath. One of these bedrooms opens to that same shady screened porch.

Taking the stairs to the upper level, you are immediately struck by the windows, the light, and all the fantastic views. The open living area features a dining table for eight, a seating area for TV viewing (with a queen-size sleeper sofa), a game table, and a reading nook. The darling kitchen comes complete with everything needed by the chef, whether you are feeding your family or entertaining friends. A bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath complete the upper level. Except for the porch.

The high, airy porch gives you a bird's eye view of Wild Dunes. By night the sounds of waves crashing on the shore soothe even the most frayed of nerves, but the sunrises are particularly spectacular! This large, screened porch features a wicker pub table with four chairs and a comfortable lounging area with wicker loveseat and rockers - all decorated with high-end designer outdoor fabrics. It will be hard to leave this wonderful space!

We have tried to provide everything we could think of, including a free golf cart with each rental. We even offer Broadband web access for those people that don't want to feel too "out of touch". We hope you'll consider us for your Carolina low-country vacation!

IOP Wedding Stay

The property was lovely. Very nicely decorated and so comfortable. The driveway is very steep, which we were not aware of. The golf cart had some maintenance issues and the shrubs are very dense. None of this should deter a renter. The house is amazing. All of our needs were met. I would definitely stay here again. Beth is great about responding.

We stayed at this property several years ago and we enjoyed once again! Pelican Bay is the best location for a family with the pool and places to ride bikes or throw a baseball.

Fantastic Family Beach House in Wild Dunes

Our family enjoyed our stay at 43 Pelican Reach. Great house for extended family—a little worn, but the location is fantastic. Just across the street from beach access so very walkable and use of a golf cart makes it even quicker to get there. We loved the use of the community pool as well. If you’ve never stayed in Wild Dunes, you should give this place a look.

Great Location

House had close beach and pool access. Golf cart made it easy to carry chairs and tents to and from the beach. Quiet neighborhood on a cul-de-sac. Loved the screened in front porch with the two fans. House had a great beach vibe with the decor.

Great spot for a family trip

We were in town for a family wedding and the space was perfect for 7 adults and 2 babies. Thrre was plenty of space to spread out but also felt cosy when we were together. There are alot of stairs- but that is the norm for every house we saw! Short walk to the beach and you could hear the waves from the patio! Also super receptive when we had questions! A great experience for.all! Also- the beds were super comfy!

Resort Getaway

The house was perfect for our family gathering. The beds were comfortable and house was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, bowls, dishes, etc. Comfortable large screen porch is nice for morning coffee/breakfast. It is a short, easy walk to the beach. Note that there are many stairs so may not be suitable for someone who is unable to climb stairs multiple times per day, including from the steep driveway.

Well-equipped updated home

We had 7 adults in the 4 bedroom house to celebrate an anniversary. The house layout was great for us. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking big meals. Loved the easy beach access & location. Hope to return!

This house is a great location. When we got there the kitchen had 2 broken ceiling lights, we were unable to use the pool the entire time due to it being green and not cleaned. Besides those two things we enjoyed our trip

Awesome location

The home was very nicely decorated and had everything needed. Made for a great long weekend trip while our so. Was married in beautiful Charleston. Love Wild Dunes. The beach was gorgeous and the pavilion wonderful. Highly recommend-one note be prepared to get your exercise in going up the drive and stairs. 🙂

Families Get Away to the Beach

Great home for the 3 families that came together for the trip. Every family had a room with bathroom set up, screened-in porch was perfect to keep bugs at bay, and we loved the golf cart for getting around the community! The only disappointment was that we were told no pack and play and no highchairs, so we hauled items across the country. When in fact there was a pack and play and 2 booster seats. Recommend revising your information to highlight that for families with young children, and getting a new baby gate would be a HUGE value add. Thank you for a great stay

Great location!

We enjoyed our time in Wild Dunes very much. It was wonderful to be able to walk across the street to the beach and also take a lovely 2.5 mile paved walk seeing golfers and deer. The house was very pretty and the bedding was so comfortable! All cotton, which we love. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and it had very nice appliances. Nothing went wrong the whole 10 weeks we were there! It was mostly the two of us but we had several family members stay off and on and they were comfortable as well. There are stairs to get into the house but we just looked at it as a little extra exercise each day. We would definitely stay at this house again.

43 Pelican Reach

This property offered a nice layout for a family vacation for adults, in-laws, and children. Upon arrival, we were a bit skeptical seeing the lack of the landscaping maintenance and general outdoor appearance and porch/carport cleanliness. The inside, however, was very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils and newer appliances. The dining area and living area provided space for all of the family to gather for meals and games. We enjoyed the large screened-in porch in the mornings and evenings.The master bedroom and bath was convenient, private, comfortable, and had plenty of storage space. The other two lower level bedrooms had ample storage but are in need of mattress replacements. Unfortunately, our guests in the double bed finally tried to sleep on the sofa for a better night’s sleep. The main floor bedroom was small and had very little storage space. The comfort of the bed would improve with a mattress replacement as well. We so appreciated having the convenience of the golf cart for our many trips to beach and pool. Overall, we enjoyed our week in IOP and 43 Pelican Reach served us well for our family vacation.

This VRBO is absolutely wonderful. The house is very clean, tidy, and very chic. The owner is incredibly thoughtful and communicative. Also, the proximity to the beach is excellent. Excited to come back again soon.

The amenities are as described. The home is in excellent condition. The golf cart didn't function well. It registered a full battery but after 2 blocks it ran out of power and we had to push it back. We are very grateful she answered her phone at midnight because we struggled with the lock to get in. It needs some attention. We eventually were able to work it lose and get in, but it needs to be looked at. After we booked the place we were informed we needed to provide our own toilet paper, dishwasher and laundry detergent. We arrived and discovered no shampoo, or body wash was provided. We had reserved it for 3 nights and its standard policy they provide these items for only 1 night. We have never had to provide all these items and it was quite inconvenient when you're traveling across country. We were expected to do 2 loads of laundry with our own detergent before leaving and we had an early morning flight to catch. All in all we liked the house, but felt that for what we paid those items should have been included. We didn't use the pool. We spent our time at the beach. Its lovely and we had no use for a pool.
