Location! Location! Historic Charleston is a 20 minute drive from the home and the beach is a 2 minute walk from the house and the Isle of Palms Recreation Center is 1.5 blocks from the house.
Awesome 2nd story condo only a short walk to the beautiful beaches of IOP and the amazing IOP Recreation Center that has tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, playground, sports fields, etc! Walk to the beach and enjoy the best of Isle of Palms and historic Charleston!
This second floor of this bright & airy dog-friendly duplex with a covered balcony and spacious sun room has tons of room to spread out. With its three separate seating areas (two of which have large screen smart TVs), you can easily create separate areas for the kids and the adults in your group. The unit is completely outfitted with everything you will need on your vacation including, linens, towels, beach towels and a fully stocked kitchen!

There is a 4-5car max allowed at this property~if you think you will have more cars please reach out to me. IOP has a strict parking ordinance based on occupancy that is enforced.
Must be 25 years of age or older to rent this house. The maximum number of overnight guests (over the age of 2) is 10. Please note, IOP is sensitive to inappropriate noise levels so no parties and large gatherings after 10 PM. The noise ordinance is strictly enforced by the Isle of Palms Police. Violations of the noise ordinance could result in fines and/or eviction.
Isle of Palms is a beautiful barrier island near Charleston that has the relaxing air of a beach town but only 20 mins. from all downtown Charleston has to offer. Besides the gorgeous, wide beaches, IOP has a marina for renting kayaks, jet skis or boats, has an amazing recreation center that includes a playground, tennis courts, sport fields and indoor and outdoor basketball courts. This is truly a one of a kind home in an excellent location on Isle of Palms with the beach and Intercostal Waterway just steps away!

My wife and I stayed in this house with our two young boys and dog. We absolutely loved it! So easy to walk across the street to the beach. Michael was a great host - we rented a golf cart from him and had fun driving it around the island. We would definitely stay there again!
We visited for a short family get-together. The location was great. Close to the beach, pickleball courts, and restaurants. Short drive to Charleston or Shem Creek. Communication with the owner and ease of everything was great!

Isle Be Back Up was a great location, very clean, plenty of room to spread out. Owner was easy to reach by text.
Perfect spot for 6 adults. We had plenty of room and the walk to the beach was short. Accommodations were just right 👌 The Isle of Palms is a great location.
We love IOP and are becoming regulars. This property was absolutely perfect. Steps from the beach, fast wifi, cool A/C, and comfortable beds. We couldn’t have had a better time! Thank you!!!!

Great Space
The house was great, just a short walk to the beach! Communication was great & I would definitely rent this house again. My family & I had an awesome time!
We stayed for 5 days and it felt like home! Our party was 6 and a small dog. I especially appreciated one of the bedrooms its own suite with its own living room and bathroom… perfect for my mom to stay. We hosted a small dinner party and it was great! This location is 5 minutes away from grocery shopping and restaurants. Would stay there again!
Great location close to beach. Enough room for our family of 6 so it didn’t feel like we were crowded. 30 min delay getting into house but minor inconvenience. I would book again. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Beach is great!

Family vacation
We had a fantastic week with our family! The house was very spacious, clean and comfortable! It was just a short walk to the beach which was great! Very pleasant neighborhood! We will absolutely be back! Thank you so much!!
This property was just perfect for our family. It is right across the street from the beach, truly a very short and easy walk. The kitchen is well stocked. It even had a play kitchen for our 3 year old grandson. It was just what we needed. We would definitely stay here again for a vacation to the Isle of Palms.
We had an awesome long weekend with family. The house was clean, well stocked, as described, and a very short walk to the beach. We also loved that the house is family friendly and set up for young children. There was frequent and easy communication with management. Overall a great time and would definitely recommend.

Wonderful Month
Loved being at Isle Be Back Up for the month of January, 2024. So comfortable and sunny. Enjoyed how conveniently located it is to the beach, shops and restaurants. Almost everything is within walking distance and with downtown Charleston only about 20 minutes away. I will definitely Be Back!!
We had a fabulous stay. Great location - a block up from beach access, a block back from the park, and just down the street from the grocery store and restaurants.
Our group included my husband, toddler and I, and my parents and we had so much space. More than we needed! This was the perfect spot for our vacation - I hope we’re back soon!

We found the accommodations just fine and exactly as described. It’s an older property, but was super clean and met our needs perfectly.
The house was in a great location! House was clean but the furniture was a little outdated. It is separated from the first floor with drywall & a baby gate which was not pictured anywhere. Check in was easy! I received text updates about check in and when the house was ready!
We really enjoyed our stay and loved the close proximity to the beach... an easy walk to multiple beach access locations! Our 2 and 2.5 year old LOVED the kitchen playset in the sunroom and spent a lot of time between beach visits pretending to cook up some meals. We were so happy we were able to bring our 2 dogs with us as well so that they could join us for some beach walks. Everyone in the area is super friendly and helpful. We are already making plans to visit again next year!
Outstanding location, property was exactly a pictured. "Isle Be Back" had everytyhing we needed for a great family weekend. Condo was clean and ready upon arrival. Easy drive into Charleston. Good restaraunt options locally in IOP. Easy walk to beach. Hosts Steven & Sarah were always a text away and quick to respond. We would rent this location again!
Had a great time. Beds were comfortable. Home was clean. Lots of natural light. Large table to accommodate large family. Lovely playroom/area that kept the children entertained. Easy short walk to the beach. Only real drawback is the yard is rather small and not lots of area for children to run and play. Would have been perfect if it didn't have another unit below.
Property is a great place to stay, very convenient to the beach and all that Isle of Palms has to offer. The beach is a short walk away and a recreation center and dog park is a short walk from the property as well. It could use a small amount of TLC, but nothing major. The entrance door scrapes the floor and will not open all the way.
Be wary of the neighbors across the street, as we had an extra car in the driveway for a few minutes to unload and situate everything inside the house and they sent a complaint to the owner after 30 minutes! We were less than 10 minutes from leaving and going to park the extra car at the public parking lot. It was pretty aggravating to get a complaint as soon as we arrived to unload, as I was trying to answer a couple of business calls for work as well.
The owners/hosts were very friendly and respond in a timely manner to issues that come up. The place was well stocked with necessities, and we would stay here again when visiting the Island.

Not what we expected:(
Roaches found on the inside and wasps' nest on the outside really put a damper on our stay. Add to this, the interior of the property needed an overhaul. The front door has such a gap around it that no wonder these creatures got inside... Add to this, peeling countertops, incomplete oven racks, cost cutting wiring choices in the kitchen (showing exposed light wiring), cabinets with missing knobs, broken drawers, burned out light bulbs, missing valance on the bottom of the dishwasher, and trying to figure out what wall switch turned on which ceiling fan was quite an adventure... Just an overall "Shabby" feel... as for the outside of the property, it was the WORST on the block...by FAR... The host did give me $100 for these inconveniences, we left 1 day early due to all the above so that did not nearly make amends. I have pics of all the above (except the roach and the wasps' but you can take my word on these) if you need to see them... On a positive note, the proximity to the ocean and a nice park both within walking distance was great.
