Brodick Base

Great place to explore the island from. Good breakfasts, and good to have the use of a lounge.

Brodick tranquility.

This island is a truly beautiful place to visit. Our host Mitch ,left lots of useful information inside our room. Plus his own personal knowledge. If you want amazing hill views , a relaxed environment and friendly locals it's a great place to visit. Allendale house is very easy to find. Get off the ferry .. turn left and aim up hill. Take your second left and your there. Making it an easy walk into Brodick. Good news for people wanting to do goat fell . The main road also goes to holy island , a nice walk featuring a waterfall and the giants graves close by.

Worth the money

We booked this B n B with trepidation, some previous reviews were not good. We found the host welcoming, the breakfasts were great, freshly cooked by a most cheerful lady. The room was clean and tidy however slightly tired looking, but we only had 2 nights there and it was more than acceptable.

We enjoyed our stay but just found that the condition of the property was a bit tired and not quite as pictured on the site but still lovely . Our room was comfortable. Owner was very friendly , helpful and provided a great breakfast. The owner was very social and engaging and actually drove us down to a pub for dinner as the weather was pouring rain that night

Not worth the price we paid - avoid.

Extremely disappointed in this room considering the price we paid for it and a bit surprised that this poor standard of B&B was advertised on Hotels.com. Not very clean - room was really small - very dated and not a very pleasant smell in room and communal areas unfortunately. Breakfast was ok, but not as good as we had hoped for and limited to what we could get. It was in a good location however, with a short walk to Brodick and nice gardens to sit in and it also had free parking which was good.

Nice Place

The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is very good and the hotel is familiar with Wi-Fi and parking free. We really enjoyed our stay. The room is very clean and comfortable.
