Cozy Cabin on Sunset Bay - Mille Lacs Lake

Come relax in our cozy cabin on Mille Lacs Lake. Situated in Sunset Bay, you will enjoy some of the best sunsets the lake has to offer along with a sugar sand beach and shallow water! Adults can walk all the way out to the end of the docks and still touch, perfect for throwing the football around, playing with the dogs, or building sand castles!

Pet and family friendly here! Come make some of the best memories in our Minnesota Lake Cabin.

You will have access to the entire home which provides one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, and a loft with two twin beds. The living room couch can also sleep additional guests. Kitchen is fully stocked with silverware, pots, pans, plates, cups, etc. Feel free to ask if we supply it before you pack it!

Also available for your stay:
-Canoe (seats about 4)
-Stand Up Paddle Board (plastic kind, not blow up)
-Paddle Boat (seats 2 adults plus up to 2 small children)

The home is located on a dead-end road perfect for enjoying peaceful nights on the lake. There is a small boat launch on-site for canoes and paddle boards. Larger boats can be launched at the nearby public boat launch.

There are several restaurants nearby (several on the lake), Grand Casino, mini golf, and golf courses! If you decide to leave our slice of heaven to explore, you will not be disappointed in the area attractions.

You will have full access to the home and yard. Large entryway/mudroom is perfect for dropping your gear, storing outdoor toys, and letting the wet dogs dry off! The patio outside has great views of the lake with a picnic table that sits 6 to enjoy your meals as well as a charcoal and gas grill and a fire pit. We have 6 outdoor chairs, bean-bag boards, yard Yahtzee, floaties and sand toys outside.

Inside there are plenty of pillows, bedding, linens, shower and beach towels and the comforts of home! Kitchen is fully stocked including Keurig and k-kups, a dishwasher, crockpot, griddle, full sized stove and microwave, plenty of plates/cups/Tupperware. We also have travel sized shampoos, conditioners, toothpastes, and toothbrushes if you forget anything!

Appeldoorns resort is about 6 houses away and has a convenience shop with toiletries, groceries, adult beverages off sale, clothing, bug spray, charcoal, firewood, etc. if you run out of anything! There's also a restaurant with patio with very good food and drinks as well as a playground for the kids if you've visited the restaurant.

Perfect Lake Getaway for the Family
Our recent family vacation to this charming cabin on picturesque lake Mille Lacs was an absolute delight. The cozy blend of rustic charm and modern comforts made us feel right at home. The highlight of our stay was the crystal-clear lake, where we enjoyed snorkeling, embarked on paddleboard and canoe adventures, and fished from the dock. In the evenings, we relished the views from the fire pit, watched movies on the awesome couches, played foosball, and even pool! The kids loved the loft and we never slept so good. This cabin is a true gem, offering a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure in the beautiful surroundings of Minnesota's lake country.

A Great Stay
Our stay at this cozy cabin was awesome! We brought our toddler and two dogs and they all loved the yard and dock. The cabin was clean and had all of the accommodations and toiletries we could need! The coffee pods and mini shampoo/toothpastes were a great touch in case we forgot them. It was really convenient being so close to the resort for food and the gift shop seemed well stocked. Sunset was awesome for us, right over the dock! We can't wait to come back in warmer weather and enjoy the shallow bay and water toys with our little one next year. Thanks Nate and Katie!

Wonderful Weekend Retreat!
Process was super simple! Location, right on the shoreline, was amazing. We were looking for a weekend away from the city with our dogs- and Nathan has the perfect place! The house was clean, lots of room to sit and hang out and enjoy the view. Nice large kitchen, easy to cook in. Plenty of options for sleeping, including a king bed! The smart tv was nice for cozying up in the evenings and watching a movie. The dog LOVED chasing balls into the water, and taking walks out on the ling pier. Close to everything you need, grocery, gas, restaurants. Loved our stay- thanks so much Nathan! Can’t wait to come back!
