Guests may bring large snowmobile trailers with ample winter parking space.
Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home, upstairs and downstairs, as well as access to the lot that surrounds the cabin for the duration of their stay.
Other things to note The cabin is approximately 1 mile off the main road, on a hard-packed gravel road like all the other neighborhoods in Island Park. The roads and driveway are kept cleared of snow in the winter but we recommend 4-wheel drive and/or winter tires for any guests visiting during the winter time.
This house can accommodate large trailers. However, be aware that during winter months this area can get a very large amount of snow (1 foot in 24 hours which is exacerbated by drifts due to strong winds) in a short period of time and even though we do our absolute best to plow the roads the crews can be overwhelmed during such times. If you plan to bring trailers then bring them at your own risk. We do not guarantee we can accommodate such a large trailer during winter storms.
Please note that the location is at an elevation of 7,000 ft, where weather conditions can be unpredictable and snowfall may occur at any time of the year. We recommend arriving well-prepared for changing weather conditions.
Guests should be aware that this cabin is in the forest/woods which is home to many creatures big and small. Although there is a pest control company that comes frequently, some of the tiny ones may get into the cabin from time to time. NO REFUNDS will be granted because someone saw a spider, a fly, a wasp, a mouse, an ant, etc.
You will be asked to agree an outside contract that clarifies the details and ensures proper expectations on both sides.

The property was beautiful. Quiet, comfortable and close to everything. The host made everything easy and provided information of the local attractions that made life a breeze. Looking forward to doing it again. We wanted a restful few days and we got it!
Everything was as advertised. Check in was easy. Could have had a few more towels in each bathroom. Beds were comfortable. We did need to dig a pathway through the snow to get to the basement door. Overall good experience
The advertisement and photos just does not do it justice. It also calls it 1500 ft.² and I believe it’s 1500 ft.² per floor. The whole family was able to stay there, 12 of us, and be super comfortable with plenty of space. We had the best time ever, and having two completely separate living areas that are combined just allowed for even more comfort for the separate families to blend. The host is just fantastic, super helpful with advice on things to do and very accommodating. The drive to the property sported moose and deer and even saw coyote. Just a fantastic place.
This beautiful cabin was the perfect place for our large group! We were all so comfortable with the adults on the upper level and the young adults on the lower level.Chris was very helpful and quick to respond to all of my questions as well as providing information regarding local attractions, places to eat and to shop. There was more than enough of everything we needed such as towels, garbage bags, soaps, TP and other incidentals and with two washers and dryers it was wonderful for everyone to be able to bring home clean clothes! I would recommend this home to anyone with a large group that would like to have room to comfortably spread out and relax after busy days spent enjoying all that the area has to offer. The central location is perfect allowing time to see and do more and making the most of your vacation. I would definitely request to stay again if back in the area. Thank you Chris for making our vacation so much less stressful.
This lodge had so many thoughtful details to make our stay better, and it’s perfect for larger groups with open concept living spaces and lots of full bathrooms.
This property was great! Plenty of room for our large family. It had everything we needed. Location was perfect for all the places we visited. This was our first time in the area and it was a wonderful vacation!
This house was perfect for our family of 12! It wasn't too far from restaurants, stores and activities to do. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood when we were not in Yellowstone or the Tetons. Chris updated me before and during our stay! I would recommend staying at this house!
Excellent propertyBeautiful surroundings and you can see the Grand Tetons in the distance. We cooked nearly every night for dinner. Everything needed was there!Lots of wildlife. We even had a moose on the property our first evening We loved the location. It was amazing!
This house is located in a quiet community and is as described on VRBO. The bedrooms are spacious, the air conditioning in the main living space and the fans in the bedrooms kept the house comfortable in upper 80s to 90 degree weather. There were a couple of maintenance issues that the owner responded to and had fixed in less than 24 hours. Overall a great stay, if we venture back to Yellowstone on a vacation we would be happy to stay here again.
Our stay was very enjoyable and the cabin had everything it needed. Our only complaint was the neighborhood that the cabin is in is not trailer friendly. It’s do able but definitely tricky.
